It's my daughters birthday this month, 18 years old, so now legally allowed to drink alcohol in bars etc she told me that she and her friends are going to a cocktail bar for their night out, as far as I know first time out drinking at all, so now with her coming of age in the days ahead, feel a bit nervous as her mother is a drunkard who can't handle her booze and used to end up in very dangerous and unpleasant situations, myself was a pissed fool sometimes, and prone to throw bar stools around clubs. But I feel less worried as my daughter is into healthy living and has matured greatly, to be honest she isn't the type to be stupid. But the drink can be negative,. How was any of you with your offspring when they started drinking or getting on the gear? How did you approach the subject? It seems I won't have to go into giving her a lecture about the negatives of drink, she is pretty clued up on dangers and she isn't into the mayhem and anarchy that happens in some cities on weekend nights. And hopefully won't be.
