Odd things you think only you do vs. WAIT, YOU TOO?

Here are a couple things I do that I doubt anyone else does. Sometimes I will sleep fully clothed shoes and all for no reason at all; when I was younger I did this every night. I will not drink cola because I am afraid of my teeth slowly dissolving but I make exceptions if there is whisky in the cola lol. I cannot sleep without some type of blanket even if the AC is broken and it is 100+ degrees in the house. I absolutely cannot wright with a regular pencil; the scratching irritates me more than anything. I get obsessed with music artists from time to time and I will listen to nothing but their music and constantly for weeks on end. That’s all that comes to mind at the moment I’m sure I do a lot more of these “weird things”.

I crochet on the train to and from work, and i have to finish the row i'm crocheting before i get to my stop. When i get to about 2 stops before, i feel a slight sense of panic and start speeding up.

I sometimes repeat the conversation I just had in my head for a little bit. (While not thinking much else about it. Just simply repeating it.)

Sometimes I'm afraid to eat or drink products that are packaged in glass- I have this weird fear that there may be a couple small shards of glass that broke and are in the drink or food. Either from rough handling, or an accidental dropping.

I know it is possible- one time we got a shipment of snapple bottles, and a row of them had sort of imploded/crushed in ever so slightly in on themselves; saw shards swirling around in them.

So everyone be careful with your Ragu, Snapples, and any other dangerous life-threatening glass-packaged food items!

Whenever I'm in deep thought I wet my pinky finger with the inside of my bottom lip and then rub the top of my nose with it. Everyone has told me they notice me do that. To be honest, I'm not exactly sure why I do it. It sort of developed as a tick.

I am unable to hold a coversation on the phone without pacing aimlessly. if I hold still for even a few seconds I lose my choo-choo

I subconciously try and fix my overbite by sticking my lower jaw out, now cannot stop and my teeth are more fucked.

^ When I sit with my chin on my hand, I more times than not rest partially on my top front teeth--It helps keep them in place between wearings of the retainer.

I always keep my fingers moving, or holding something. If I'm walking somewhere I'll keep one hand on a lighter in my pocket at all times. If I don't have anything to hold I tap my fingers against my thumb. Sometimes it's songs I know on guitar. Sometimes I just like tapping the numbers to a rhythm. 1 1 4 3 1 3 3 is my favourite.

Sometimes, I'll flush the toilet mid-stream to try and race the flush.

What I mean is that I'll flush the toilet and then quickly try to finish peeing before the toilet has finished flushing.

I'm incredibly cryptic about certain things when leaving messages on home answering machines, just in case someone other than the person the message is intended for is within earshot.

Example: My Aunt sent me an invite for my cousin's surprise birthday party--He doesn't live with her, but he does go over for dinner occasionally. I left a message along the lines of: "Hi, this is [Addi] calling about the thing you sent me. If you could call me back at [phone number], that would be great." I didn't want to say, "Hi, this is [Addi] calling to RSVP to [my cousin]'s birthday party" just in case tonight was one of those nights he came over and she played the message while he was there. The chances of him being there are slim, but you never know. Right? ;)
