Odd? Roxycodone dose.

I have been on Oxycodone for a little over a year. I have chronic pain in my shoulder. I do enjoy the buzz that comes along with the pain relief with painkiller. My doctor just upped my dose from 2, 10-325s every 6hr, to 1 30mg roxy every six hours. I have a pretty large tolerance. Have taken heroin a dozen times, other oxycodones, and the like. My question is this. After work, i took my 30mg roxycodone orally, waited about 30minutes and decided i wanted some extra feeling, so i insulflatted another 15mg roxycodone. The slight feeling i had before snorting, went away. All buzz gone. Never did feel anything more as far as buzz (pain relief was there). Is that normal? That happen to anyone else?

So you took 45 mg. within an hour and didn't feel much? I personally prefer oxy with APAP. The Roxy's seem to be more nauseating to me. I'm guessing this is all just a tolerance issue. How many Percoset 10's does it take to get you where you want to be?

Probably took too much, it's not too common that all effects go away after taking too much, but it happens. Try going 20 oral and 10 insuf if you want both.

Yep, took 45mg. It usually takes 3 10s to get an effect. Im prescribed the 30, and had been on them for about a week.

I would try splitting the pill, snort half and swallow the other. Don't up your dose too much because tolerance can jump fast.

Thanks for your advice everyone. I will take it allninto consideration. The 30mg definitely helps for pain. So i will stick there for now.

APAP does actually potentiate the effect of oxy and hydro. I would take maybe 500 mg acetaminophen with your Roxy. Also, do yourself a favor and don't snort it, just swallow it like it was meant to be taken.
