Hi all,

I did a fair bit of searching but could not find anything about a little problem i've been dealing with that worries me every so often when i'm in the process of shooting up a shot of heroin that has mixed with my blood.

The rare occasion it happens, I've registered but came out the vein, the syringe of 30-40 units will fill up with 15-30 units of blood as well, when i have this blood mixed shot, and finally do register (the time is approx +3-5minutes after blood has mixed with d sometimes much longer and the blood usually has time to congeal to certain extent) its a thick mixture, but it seems to hit me harder, the effects hit much harder than had i registered first try and succeeded to inject.

I am a little hesitant to post this because for many many times prior, i have wondered if this was all in my head but tonight after doing a .4 to .5 shot [a typical dose for me] that after registering but failing to inject, became mixed with my a substantial amount of my own blood, four or five minutes later actually hitting and injectin, I almost became incapacitated. (near overdose)

with all sincerity I am curious why this may be affecting me this way, or if there are any dangers to make myself aware of.

thanks for the time,

the 5 minute mark is really pushing it shooting coagulated blood. It won't make you more intoxicated but it can kill you. When you get to that point shoot the solution into your nose, or if you have to inject it shoot it bad to the cooker, refilter then shoot.

As soon as you register you need to anchor the syringe and inject. Once you get that flash of blood you don't want to be loosing the vein, and if you do, you want to get that shot off asap.

You REALLY don't want to or need to be registering 15 to 30 units, you are almost doubling the volume of your shot with your blood. All you need is a flash of blood to know your in the syringe then inject. It causes more wear and tear on your veins to be taking .3cc of blood every time you inject in and out.
