Heroin Odd heroin solution in spoon and rig...

Hello all.

Today I hit up buddy and went and got my junk. This is same homie who been workin with me for a while now with almost 0 problems.

So today I get my shit and prepare my 1st go. I notice as I put the water in the powder it turns all cloudy and shit. I have been mix it a little with the plunger before I add the heat. Sure enough after I add the heat (not even that much)

After cooking I stir up again and then go to draw it up. Before I sucked it up it was still cloudy!! So it still draws
Up but looks different and a lil cloudy...


Are there any ways I could do something different tl avoid the cloudy solution? I still get a proper shot it just looks odd.

Any way all help would greatly be appreciated. THANKS
 
hey there, good to see another fellow ATLien. did you cop it from the bluff? the d-boys in the bluff are infamous for cutting their dope with some bad stuff. I'm guessing your dope was cut with an antihistamine. But it could be a number of things, as most antihistamines leave a decent amount of residue when put in the solution.

If I were you I'd ask my dealer if he knows anything about it, but honestly, I'd still shoot it lol
Also, do not heat your dope, unless it is a seriously hard rock that can't be broken down from crushing. Heating it definitely made the solution more cloudy by adding more of the cut into the shot. Heroin is very very soluble in water, a cold shot is fine
 
Thanks for the reply. Nah don't cop in the bluffs, but that sounds like a possibility about the cut... Thanks for the input tho, let me know what buddy says tho. Thanks alot tho.
 
Cornstarch becomes water soluble when heated. For this reason, and more, I advise you not to heat IV solutions in the future. :)

It basically does nothing to ensure sterility; the only way to do this is to use micron filters and bacteriostatic water (if you would like to have it prepared for future use and not immediate use)
 
Thanks for the tip cap'n. Should I stir it up in the spoon before I suck it up/ filter it?? Just got another sack let's hope we don't have the same prob...

Yes, stir it up, grind it into a fine powder, etc - this is the best way to encourage it to dissolve.

Filtering with a cotton is probably the best you can do, short of getting some micron filters for yourself.
 
I have always been told to heat the shit up. Ive read many of your posts capt. heroin and you always stress not to heat it. SO all the stuff that doesnt dissolve is not good at all?? SO what if there is a big a pile of sand in the bottom of your puddle you just leave there and put your cotton on top of it??
 
^^ Thats what I was thinking.... Usually theres nothing left when I heat it, its just this stuff does that.
 
well,if its there after a cold mix,you dont want it in your shot,like someone said,heroin dissolves fine in cold water.

Agreed. I used to cold shot my dope when I shot up, and I never had heat/add anything unless it was very alkaline. I remember getting this awful sandy crap that would clog my works, I had to add all sorts of shit to it and cook it just to get it to dissolve and while I know Heroin isn't exactly the best/cleanest substance, adding other crap or cooking is not always necessary.

And sometimes the cut in the dope can cause it to get cloudy. It depends and you never know what is in it! I am glad you got a good shot out of it, I used to always get good shots cloudy or clear. I just hated when it wasn't cold water soluble it made prepping a shot more time consuming.
 
Whenever I don't add heat to the solution it is very cloudy but if I put a little heat to it the shot it not cloudy what so ever.. Every place has different stuff so its so hard to know what you have and what to do with it
 
You guys are seriously missing the point here... You know why it's cloudy without heat? Insoluble particles (cuts, contaminants, etc) in the solution. When you heat them it gets nice and clear because you're making these cuts and contaminants dissolve into the solution.

Heroin is very water soluble, even in cold water. Heating it isn't going to get any more of it into your shot (or even sterilize it) it will simply get more contaminants into your bloodstream.

I am such a fiend that I'll shoot up anything in the barrel of a syringe even sub-cutaneously.

I wonder what they think of the grinding, microwaving, freezing, and heating to extract the new oxycontins, OPs? lol!

Yes it cannot be stressed enough that heating heroin or pills or whatever for injection is not only unnecessary but also not safe.

When you mix the heroin with water and notice that it is cloudy, all the heroin has dissolved into the water while all the crap that hasn't dissolved is cut and should not be dissolved... so it is a good thing when junk is floating around... the heroin is not trapped in that stuff... so when you cotton filter it, all that is left behind is not wanted cuts.

by adding heat, all of this junk dissolves into the solution and gets into your veins and then stuck in your lungs/heart. no matter what people tell you or how many junkies you have seen heat their dope, they are all wrong. you are seriously harming yourself more than you have to every time you heat your heroin or pills.

of course, without micron filters, even though you don't heat and see most of that junk left behind in the spoon, a lot of cut and fillers still make it into solution... so micron filters are a must have for long term heroin use. but most importantly, just remember: DO NOT HEAT!
