tricomb- what dosages of haloperidol did you keep laying around? i have been on anywhere from 20-40mg zyprexa a night (fluctuates as bipolar gets better/worse) but i used to be on 5mg haloperidol along with it but ATM i am on 20mg zyprexa and 2mg haloperidol a night/evening (they aren't even sedating to me anymore lol)


Looks like i killed the thread.. *facepalm*

Yes I am type 1. I am used to my hypomania, I don't really enjoy it, it's kind of like being very mildly stimulated on amphetamines for months and then you experience full blown mania where I do things like buy new motorbikes, take out loans etc. Then I have the depressed crash.

It's a shitty cycle.

EDIT:

Zuclopenthixol/Clopixol/Acuphase: The last line of defense in a psychotic attack. Usually administered against your own will.

It's like being in a straight jacket for 2 days.

Probably the time I enjoy most is full blown mania as it's almost like being on MDMA for a few days to a week haha. You do a lot of dumb shit though.
 
i used to get told i acted weird on MDMA and i finally figured out since i was bipolar that it was like MDMA x2 for me so i was twice as fucked up as everyone else because it would trigger mania plus the drug= really enjoyable (while it lasts) so i get what you're saying.
 
I feel like I'm not remembering what they gave me right.... It might not have been fluphenazine. At first I thought it was Flumazenil but that's what they give you for benzo OD.

here I'll look it up on my medical record one seconddddd. It was WAY stronger than haldol, that's why its probably not fluphen.

edit: actually, I was given both fluphenazine (Prolixin) on one occasion, and perphenazine (Trilafon) on another.

Compazine is also strong as fuck.
