Basketball Diaries and Forced Entries, and a couple books of poetry. Shit is definitely quality writing.

It in no way glorifies the junkie lifestyle, but it's real and it's good. Forced Entries is really good with great stories also.
 
I liked the Basketball Diaries film and so I knew I'd like the book but I didn't realize it'd be THAT good. I'll have to check out Forced Entries soon. Cheers for the tip!

Oh btw, did you know Forced Entry is a porn film about a viet vet who comes back to NY, just to begin a porn & killing spree in the dames range? Nice stuff to the palate, too ;)

Yeah, thanks for that capn, I was just getting used to being a smod.

As far as jim carrol goes, I related to BD alot as a teenager, but forced entries is much more reminiscent of my current life. He has great stories about working with several famous artists, including in Warhols studio.
