OC vs Herion

I cant stand it when people do OC but hate on people that do herion! its fucking the same shit..sure herion give u alittle more rush..another thing people hatin on needle users, i just started to use needles an now my friends found out and now im "on another level" and dont wana talk to me

I hate hypocrits too.. I'll agree with you on that.

But heroin and OC are not the same shit at all... They are made from two completely different alkaloids. Heroin (diamorpine) is made from morphine, while Oxycodone is made from thebaine (as is hydrocodone). --- So any talk you may hear about OC being 'synthetic heroin' is complete ignorant bullshit. They are two different chemicals, period.

Now.. as far as opioid strength goes, they may be fairly close... so I do agree that these people who are high and mighty about OC but are down on heroin are pretty uneducated. The only argument I could hear would be that street heroin is just that -- off the street. You don't know for sure what's in it... Personally, I won't fuck w/OC unless its free because the price is utterly ridiculous.. and down here in the bible belt it's all about the white bitch (which i hate).. Wish we had some H!
 
I wish I could say that I can't believe your drug-using friends don't talk to you just because you started using needles, but I have experienced the same thing, once even from a person that, at some point very recently was actually talking about trying IVing dope herself.
 
i agree completely with the OP.
if oxycodone wasnt so efficient when taken orally/snorted, there would literally be NO difference between the two on a user level. simply because you dont need a needle to get the most outta oxy doesnt make heroin worse.

however, NEEDLES are another level...that is the truth. sucks that heroin really needs to be injected in most cases.
 
it's the human mind man, everyone has different limits, i personally have never IV'd and never will, but I don't look down on my buds that do. Needles just freak me out and always have, I nearly faint when getting my blood taken. Definitely not a good idea to openly tell people you IV, or even use at all for that matter, people who've never been there will never understand it and thats just how it is.

That's pretty true man.. I have IV'd but I definitely don't on a regular basis (haven't in about 22 months).. but I would honestly suggest not trying it.. The thing with me.. Is the first time I iv'd.. I think it was dilaudid.. and it was just the best high I have ever expierenced.. this was about 3 years ago.. I loved it so much, it scared me.. I have an opiate dependency now.. but I don't shoot drugs.
 
well, dilaudid is supposed to be an extremely potent opiate, thats probably why it scared you.

I've never done it, but I'd definetly boot some diauded up.
 
I got hooked doing oxycontin but now I try to shoot just 1 bag $20 good powder heroin a day and perc/oc's are norm $1/mg so fuck that this is good as dope and $20 i can be nodding oxy20 only get me well.

daily user now tho for years. was taking street methadone for mattience for months but he stop getting script need to move near a clinic.

may just drive to a suboxone dr printed the biglist off sahsma

i dont get the best dope in the world, but i would still take it any day over an oxy just based on the price vs performance. oxy 80s are about 50 bux a pop in my area, and ill blow at least two in the process of getting high-100 bux worth of dope gets me WAY higher for WAY longer.....that being said, there are still people out there that swear oxys provide a better high 8) As far as prejudice against iv users, it just comes with the territory.....the way i see it is there are so many irresponsible iv'ers out there for every one that actually takes the time and effort to do it right and clean up properly, its an image that i dont anticipate will change.....Lastly, in my experience i find it humorous that those who hate first and most viciously are often the ones who come back a month later begging you to hit them!

i think thats about the best way to put this subject. they are nowhere near the "same thing". but if you addicted to oxy you might as well be addicted to heroin, because your seeking it out every day, multiple times if needed to feed your habit. so i can see how people who arent as educated would think its the same drug.

but.. to the OP. there really was no question in your post, so technically this belongs in your journal man.
 
For me it was the other way round, I was in Argentina and I could get a bottle of 30 OC 40s for 150bucks, or buy for 5-6bucks a 40.

On the other hand I could get awesome H, light brown powder straight from Colombia that was there to be smuggled to the states, at least 85% purity, the best dope I had in the world.

But since there was no H scene in Argentina and I was getting it from very professional dudes who were extremely cautious and secretive and you had to buy at least 2 grams, and no more than 5 at a time, and it was 400$ for 2 grams.

It was really worth it, but very difficult to come up with that money at a time, and since I could buy oa couple of oc's at a time,that was what I was addicted to, and getting oxys was less time consuming and way easier for me.

Of course whenever I had the money I did H, but I was addicted and for daily use the oxys were much more convinient, exactly the opposite of what happens in the states.

And yeah the rush of IV H is impossible to compare to oc's, but for daily use and funcionting snorting H or OC was pretty much the same, the H gave more euphoria and that warm feeling, but the oxy was more versatile, and got me more motivated, but bottomline is when you are addicted any strong opiate will do the trick in the right dose.

Man i was the same way untill last saturday, when i was high on OC (of course) and went to pokin' myself. It got to be kinda fun, i gotta admit. I had never tried to shoot up before so i fucked up a few times and now i have bruises. but it's a challenge to get that little fucker to go in there when you're nervous as shit, tryin to hold a belt, nodding off and droppin the rig

thats $5 per 40mg OC...good price.
never got those kinda prices until i was buying hundreds.
 
OC is good and all but damn its such a waste of money. where i live you can get 10 bags of heroin for the price of 1.5 80mg OCs... it just doesnt make sense why anyone would want the OC.
