Transformation of the opiate/pharmy/dope scene when OP-OC hit
I'm curious as to what others are experiencing in their respective regions/states, and if it's as similiar to what I expected to see and am seeing in my area (Northeastern U.S.A.)
There was absolutely no doubt in my mind that a lot of things were going to get even more out of control in the whole benzo/pharmy opiod/dope scene when OP-OC hit the shelves.
The most obvious consequence being that all the OC heads who hadn't yet realized that doing OC and doing dope are only a hair different and switched just for solely economic reasons, those folks are now making that switch in droves. They're paying xxx bucks for a real OC80 IF they can actually find one, and OP's are shite. A lot of the guys clinging to that "its a pharm, its so much cleaner I don't fuck with that DOPE shit man!" have long since given up the ghost...
More fallout comes with the price of almost all other opiate pharmaceuticals like hydromorphone, morphine, opana, everything are rising as greedy bastards are taking advantage of people fiending for pharms now.
Also as a result of the whole shift in the opiate market, and obviously more people being hard up to get dope (I use this term to describe any opiate, as well as actual dope obviously) are clinging to their benzo scripts and connects for them. Availability of benzo's, at least in my wide circles, has dropped to probably 1/4 of what it was, and prices in most places have doubled, tripled...quadrupled... Partly due to greedy bastards preying on people, partly due to the understandable desire of many people to hang onto theirs more tightly.
There was no doubt in my mind that a lot was going to be changing, but how fast and how much has suprised me. And no doubt further heinous things will follow...all in the name of chasing what we all grow to love and hate.
Just wondering if others have been seeing any of the same, in what ways, where at...
Appreciate anybody's input.
