Do you think...... they will come back with the old formula? I keep hearing stuff like the OP's are not working properly and coming out impacted in the stools of elderly cancer patients and shit like that. (no pun intended) Honestly i just really miss those damn 0C 80 little green tablets of delight. Wondering if I will ever see 1 again, i bet people have stockpiled them (smart people that is). The OPs are nowhere near as fun obviously cause you cant remove the time release and yada yada you know the deal. Just wanted to know what word is on the street and where better to ask my question that the wonderful world of Bluelight. God speed friends! God speed Cap'n H!!!!!
 
I can not speculate upon the actions that Purdue Pharmaceuticals will take in the future in regards to their opiate medication, Oxycontin.

The original formulation, imprinted on the tablets as "OC," is still available in some parts of the United States and overseas.

You may want to use Bluelight's beneficial search engine to explore ways to make the "OP" formulation more effective for your pain management.
 
I do and dont hope so. I do hope because I would rather people do OC than heroin. Because they know the purity and its not dirty and cant be cut with anything. Safer and better imo.

I dont want it back because I loved OCs, more than heroin. It could tempt me to do one, but ive been on suboxone and clean for 6 weeks today though.
 
There is a small possibility that the new formulation will be reformulated again. However the old OC formula is never going to return and any new reformulation will still be "abuse-proof" and likely just as much of a hassle as the current OPs are.

It's been awhile since the OPs hit the market at this point. People need to start accepting that the old OCs are gone for good already. Move on with your lives people. Either use the OPs, a different medication, heroin, pod tea, or stop using altogether... it's as simple as that.

As a note, there are still generic OCs available at some pharmacies which simply haven't sold out of their stock of them yet, but the OCs are not being produced any longer.
 
OP's aren't a hassle at all in my opinion. Chew it up and swallow, gets you fucked up nicely, and for longer than sniffing or shooting. Even if you want to sniff or shoot the microwave method works well enough and isn't that much of a pain.

Of course i only use oxy once or twice a month now, so i don't know how much of a pain doing them every day would be. I still think not that bad if you just chew and swallow..

So it sounds like you are saying the old OC's are basically "priceless" since they will not be making any more of that formula. What i would give to get my hands on just 1 (miss them so). All the users that i know have switched over to roxi's and a couple have quit for good (congrats to them). I am on methhadone mantenance (congrats to me) but i still have urges as you can see.

I never found roxis to have the same feeling to it as an OC.. even tho i believe its the same ingredients

Hey congradulations...did you taper off or go directly to sub??? reason Im asking is cause i want off of all of it..OPs roxis..any narcotic..i just wanna go back to a good ole fashoned pothead...thanks for your reply.and again..congrads..thats awesome!!!
 
Hey OP,

Speculating about whether or not Purdue will change their formulation isn't really harm reduction nor is it productive in any way. This discussion doesn't belong in Other Drugs and I'm going to close the thread. As others have said you can try and deal with the OPs or get other brands of oxycodone that don't have an advanced abuse proof system.
