Obsession

I was going to work on some step work tonight before I crashed and all I wanted to do was quickly look up the word, Obsession.

Okay well yeah I did do that but I found a really cool site for quotes and I'm a total sucker when it comes to them. So I spent oh over four, five hour reading on that site and now I can't even see straight. Of course I never wrote on my step either, SOB.

I do have a hand cramp from writing down pages of what I thought were the best quotes I had found so far.

Anyway I can't put this up without leaving one at the end so...

"What moves those of genius, what inspires their work is not their work is not new ideas, but their obsession with the idea that what has already been said is still not good enough." ~ Eugene Delacroix

"I have spread my dreams beneath your feet; thread softly because you thread on my dreams." ~Yeats

I'm an ignorant chick esp on historical characters so I dont know who they were but I'd hav liked Yeats I think - that is a quote to die for

nothing wrong wiv obsessions
I have many
anyone say 'horses', 'Iron Maiden', or a few utha choice ones and u got me hooked into a convo even if I didnt properly hear it and the ppl r saying 'that horse bucks so badly it deserves torture via the iron maiden' (then I'm the iron maiden lol)

I prefer the word hyperfocussed to obsessed - much more positive way of saying 'immersed in sumthing u thoroughly enjoy'

Hey DW, a buddy told me about a documentary about how Bruce Dickinson used to fly the band from gig to gig in his personal plane (I think it was one of those huge fuckers as opposed to a Cessna).

The documentary is called Flight 666. I haven't watched it yet but I understand its on the onDemand thingy on cable here in the states

Oh yeah- thinkexist is a good one- I also like one called http://quotegarden.com/ -

My favorite quote is a John Burroughs quote and I am SOOOO upset b/c I can't find it in its entirety in the last few months :(
