Hey there. Long time lurker, yada yada.
I’m confined to mobile right now so this’ll be more of a preliminary hello. I have been following Bluelight almost as long as I have been using Erowid, so since about 2006. I’m in my mid 30’s and have a sort of ebb and flow relationship with the RC scene, thanks largely to my “career” (still weird for me to say) and just general responsibilities.
I have a little bit of experience with most classes of substances. I’m a definite fan of lysergics and tryptamines, and had my own love affair with MXE for a good 5 years until it went away. So I’m sure I’ll fall into that little clique no problem. I’ll try and give a better intro at some point. I fully believe in Bluelight’s harm reduction practices, and yet I still find these forums a great place to go read about how you should definitely not be treating drugs judging from other users experiences.
one of my goals in here will be to provide a couple very well controlled trip reports from the perspective of someone without huge tolerances or in a myriad drug cocktail for some substances that might be lacking them. I have my eye these MXE analogs and other dissociatives at the moment.

Hey @electronDegenerate
Welcome to Bluelight :)
That's what's up. I think alot of us on here started out with erowid. I knew it was the only place where I could go and look at pictures, and information about certain drugs, and wowie was I in so much fucking trouble when my mom and dad discovered erowid lool. I played it cool though, told them that someone at school talked about a drug, and they were acting kind of funny and wanted to see what an overdose was described as so I could help them if needed, and needless to say I was still in trouble lol. They almost canceled my club penguin account >:(
MXE was a fun chemical, it was rumored that a fellow Bluelighter had came up with the chemical. So we are all capable of great things lol.

Thank you.
Erowid definitely blew my mind when I first discovered it. Back around 06 and 07 I was all about the all natural drugs, shamanic practices and entheogens. Erowid was a treasure trove of knowledge. What I read there lead me to discovering this whole magic sublayer of reality.
I stopped with the all natural limitation after a failed experiment with cactus sludge. Whipped up this big ol mug of it and thought I could slurp it all down for my own little mescaline trip. It was impossible, and I never gagged harder in my life. Powerful and pure synthetic hallucinogens gained a much bigger appeal after that.
My ayahuasca trip wasn't a failure though. Luckily I met someone who who supplied me everything I needed. And those same people ended up introducing me to 2C-E and from that point on I was a full fledged psychonaut.

I am familiar with the bluelighter associated with the creation of MXE, and have read many of his posts over the years. In fact his posts may be the reason I ever decided to get some. Back in 2010 and 11 I was mostly satisfied exploring psychedelic phenethylamines and tryptamines and didn't originally have an interest in ketamine and PCP analogs. I'm glad I tried MXE though, I was immediately totally fascinated by the experience and had to explore it further. It was so easy to dive in to fully immersive realms. Mixing MXE and 4-AcO-DMT ended up being probably my favorite combination of all time. One of the first things I intend to do now that I'm returning to the scene is see what these MXE analogs have to offer, and eventually see how well they combine with tryptamines.

Also, I'm like a goddamn pokemon trainer when it comes to these chemicals. I have 26 different tryptamines in my collection right now, and when I came back I counted 13 more out there I never obtained. Shit...

Hey, welcome to Bluelight @electronDegenerate :)

A lot of what you posted is over my head but you'll fit right in with your drug knowledge!

Hope you can find home with us. Real diverse, interesting and (by and large) judge-free crew.

Any questions just ask!

Peace.
