Washington, D.C.--(ENEWSPF)--February 1, 2010. President Obama’s CitizenTube forum concluded today with questions about ending marijuana prohibition receiving the most votes, by far. Yet, an answer to the most popular question was absent from the president’s address, which took place on YouTube this afternoon.
Last year, when marijuana reform questions topped the president’s “Open For Questions” forum, the president at least answered — albeit without serious consideration to the issue.

Obama needs to realize something: ending marijuana prohibition is not a fringe issue. Not anymore. The question consistently ranks among the most popular whenever the president holds one of these unfiltered forums, and the polls are showing rapid increases in support for reform nationwide (46% of Americans think small amounts of marijuana should be legal, according to a recent ABC News/Washington Post poll). We can’t just ignore it. With at least three states considering legislation or ballot initiatives to tax and regulate marijuana like alcohol in the coming years, the issue is going be addressed in a serious way — whether or not Obama continues to ignore it.

What a pussy! lol He won't even acknowledge it now? His answer last time came off as insulting, he won't even touch it now =\

One state at a time, we're really winning this one.

Im not surprised, sadly. Obama needs to stop being a fucking drop kick and start dealing with what the american people, the people who voted that fucker in, ask about.

he its better than a big fat racist!

Mc cain would of made laws tougher i bet!

i support legalizing Marijuana in america cause australia will bend over and do what ever the USA does

I love how this fool wants to act like his all in "Tune" what the American people want.... But the fact of the matter is , when the number #1 question is asked of him... He decides to totally ignore the question as if it wasn't asked... This got me as anger as when i first heard the Patriot Act was passed by congress...

Obama will not move on this issue until he is re-elected. Even for such a popular president, he is cautious with making such drastic policy descions. And who blames him when people voted that last douch in 3 times..??

He is though helping the cause with calling off the DEA on MMJ patients. You cannot deny how much of a win that is... Seriously! Reform will come through the states and then a fedral challenge will set it in stone.

Once again, no comment is ALOT better then hardline policy!!! Read between the lines people. Sheesh, sometimes stoners amaze me, gotta open ur minds and understand the system.

Obama will have to carefully sell the regulation policy. White america is looking for any way to crucify him at the moment. Its not a good time.

^^^yeah. Him ignoring the question is way way way better than him being all like "blah blah blah mexico, blah blah blah war on drugs, blah blah blah if you buy drugs you're a terrorist."

Honestly I think if/when California legalizes it, Obama will lay off like he did with states who legalized medical marijuana. He's got much more important shit to worry about...the only concern I can imagine is people trafficking cannabis from california and the media blowing up a cannabis murder or cannabis DUI's. So if the gov is worried about trafficking, the only logical conclusion would be that we might as well legalize it nationally. =D

shit this isn't a bad thing, just keep on ignoring it Mr. president.

I fucking knew he would ignore it. I had a feeling. One of my questions was if he blew off the marijuana question to please the conservative political fuckers and make sure they didn't hate him, and if he ever considered that the people of this nation would be disgusted by it. i got a lot of thumbs up on it too. i looked through questions in every category and every other question was about legalizing.

it should be a fucking crime, regarding politics, to say you're gonna do something and then not do it at all. this should be impeachable.

Thats pretty shit, to say he will adress questions and fail to ask the most popular one. All you pro Obama people might think he is avoiding it so he doesn't have to condemn it but shit, he could just speak the facts I mean he used to smoke the stuff. It is just shit for him to ignore the question on everybodies minds, the American Government are going to have to wake up and realise this is a pressing issue and the people want fucking answers.

Eh, since he is black he likely won't even touch that. Not because is black but because of the stereotypes and the fact that a lot of people would have a fit and blame it on that.
I think we see legalization in my lifetime though.

Hmmm… I wonder what a New World Order porch monkey looks like.

Hint: It’s black and white and red all over. (No, not the newspaper.)

Legalize all drugs, not just one

Of course pot is not even a drug and should never have been banned. But from a tactical point of view I wouldn't like to see pot decriminalized while the other drugs would remain prohibited. It's marihuana prohibition that gives prohibition such a bad press. As long as marihuana stays prohibited, the shame on the war-on-drugs will grow, and grow, and grow. Ultil (I hope) the whole edifice crumbles.

Since Obama readily admits to "inhaling frequently," he obviously knows marijuana is not as harmful as it's portrayed, hence his efforts with not prosecuting Medical patients.

If he openly supported marijuana, the GOP would portray him as a black man who promotes drugs despite having two, UNDER TEN, little girls. As mentioned above, drug prohibition has always started with racism, and excessively greedy capitalism.

The name marijuana itself was used (spelled marihuana I believe) instead of the scientific name, Cannabis Sativa/Indica, due to the fact that marijuana sounds like some barbaric Mexican santeria voodoo drug!

All in all, I think President Obama knows how harmless weed is, but just doesn't want to say it out loud.

Any more lax views/changes would come towards the end of his second term, his kids would be nearly 16-18 then, or it might come at the end of his first term if reelection is not imminent.

Or not at all, but who knows?

All I know for sure is having this eloquent black man in the white house who readily admits to smoking cannabis, is FAR FAR FAR better than the last president, or the other GOP choice for president.

not shit is gonna "change" until either 1. he gets elected again or 2. 25+ states decriminalize/legalize. and wit all the critisizm coming from the far right you think he wants to fuck up his re-election? fuck republicans there really fucking shit up. i gaurentee his second term will be different, and stop wit this NWO conspiracy shit no one cares or believes it.

porch monkey? i don't think hes deserves racism, at least hes doesnt disgrace respectable blacks like this kinda person would

growing out of the stereotypes of his colour, maybe he will inspire some of the young kids in the ghetto who think because they are black , they must be something like the above picture, maybe hes inspire them, to be more like him,

and if your going with the new world order thing, might as well call him
a
slimey green reptilian bastard
