I was at a mates place a few weeks ago and we were all quite heavily under the influence of MDMA. One of my mates gets nystagmus so bad that it can lessen the enjoyment of the experience somewhat for him. He was sitting on his bed cursing that he couldn't see anything properly and that it was really annoying him. Another mate ran out of the room and said "I've got something for you"............

He came back into the room with an ice cube from the freezer. He gently rubbed the ice cube on the back of said mates neck. As soon as the ice cube touched his neck he got an amazed look on his face and said "holy shit, everything's as clear as day". I had eye jitter pretty bad too so I gave it a go. It certainly did improve the situation no end. I found that after the initial clarity it was harder to get the same effect, like I had built up a small tolerance to the feeling. Going from heavy nystagmus to perfectly still vision like this is really quite an amazing feeling.

Does anyone have an explaination of this occurence? Has anyone else tried this? Anyone know any other ways to reduce nystagmus? Discuss at will peepoles :)

Btw Nystagmus is eye wobbles and stuff..

Personally I love the eye wobbles.. Nothing like not being able to read an sms because everything is a blur.. I sometimes find myself a little disapointed when suddenly everything jumps into clarity - its a definate sign of straightening up

I find it's only effective if the ice cubes are placed in the rectum:)And hey,it's also an effective method for treating GHB overdose......

OK.

Aloowishus is only joking, ice cubes will not cure a GHB/1,4b overdose. Please do not try this. If someone is suffering a overdose, call an ambulance and tell the paramedic exactly what the person has taken. Ice cubes on the rectum WILL NOT HELP!!!

Now, back on topic...
