NYPD to hide GPS chips in pill bottles

your average stick up guy isn't gonna bother with magnets or sensors or EMP pulses or antimatter grenades. I assume > 99% of robbers are your average stick up guy.

i liked the guy who cut a hole in the roof and lowered himself in and stole all the shit then climbed back out. thats not stick up man BS. but i agree, most ppl that rob a pharmacy are idiot stick up kids.

why do you think that's an issue, or has any legal ramifications?
(i srsly fail to see how on earth anyone could take issue with this- as in, what potential concern do you / anyone have? that the pharmacist will mess up and hand you a gps bottle? earlier, you alluded to the law being clear on this- which law(s), specifically?)

I apologize for not feeling like digging through legal codes, but once the pill bottles are in an area where they may be dispensed, they must contain what is advertised (hence no legal placebos). You can put a GPS thing in there, but not dummy pills is all. My other point is the lack of legal authority for local or state PD to enter a pharmacy for any reason without a warrant. This means such a program would have to be voluntary barring a change in the law.

Im pretty sure the pharmacys will voluntarily allow this to happen considering it is a step to protect them and their stock from theft... no need for a warrant

I would think independent pharmacies would be interested, but I really don't need more people checking in on me (not that I'm up to shady shit, it's just a nuisance). We have enough shit to keep track of.
