Now this is a fucking party. If I have any chance of being able to get to this I will. I am really going to try and figure out a way to get to this shit. I missed the one 2 years ago and was pissed for a week afterwards because I did so. Anyway it would be a great place to meet some of you. I will post closer and see how things are going. This lineup is just too much.

It's looking like it's not very likely I can make it out :( I told my friends in DC/VA about it and nobody seemed too excited. I don't know why..... maybe I should keep bugging them :p I explained how wonderful the Hammerstein is and how we all really need to do an NYC roadtrip but eh :\

I'm also pretty certain they aren't allowing us to request off for the weekend of July 4th cause holidays are busy at the restaurant. And even if they are allowing us to request off.... I'm pretty sure a lot of the staff has already tried and they only allow a certain number of employees to request off for certain dates.

Sometimes I really HATE working weekends :X I miss all the fun :(
 
I might be going to this. I bartend on Sundays for 10 hours starting at 11 am and cannot ever take off a shift. The owner of my bar always has a summer employee party on a Sunday and hopefully he will have it this weekend so that I can attend. Unfortunately, his house is being renovated and he is not sure if it will be finished by the start of July. C'mon non-union construction workers, work faster dammit!

This the part of the party I'm NOT looking forward too, and can really do without. Jackass was funny when it first came out but it's so played out now and over the top. I mean come on, how much do we really need? First it's the tv show then they make a movie off that...ok fine. But now they made 2 other shows branched off of Jackass, which is essentially the same thing! Bunch of grown men acting like 5 year olds, and now they're going to be at this party...who cares?!

Other people may feel differently...but that's just my 2 cents. It's bad enough that Louie DeVito is going to be there, why not throw in Jackass and commercialize it even more?
