this seems too too big for me. been to the last few One Nations though, and they was always cool. Plus i love the hammerstein ballroom.
I can't decide about this one.

btw, i think KRS-1 was the shit. ya'll don't even know it but you saw a hip-hop legend rock it out! i mean, he WAS a little out of context being at a rave and all BUT, he probably hates nelly, and puffy and all them other shitheads as much as you do. know what i mean?

^^^I am aware of their "legend" status. I thought that they were more than out of context though, I thought that their performance was terrible.

my only gripe with krs' performance at one nation what last year or the year before it, they all blend together now... is that he would play half of one song, then talk about how much of a better rapper he is than everyone, then shit talk nelly, then play half of another song(which his crew of 1,000 people on stage sang most of) and then stop to talk again.
 
the only good performance I thought KRS-1 ever had at a rave event was @ Boo 5 in Asbury Park, NJ. He killed it on stage and with the performers he came with. Other then that, I don't think he's performed good at any other rave-type event. I'm personally happy to see that a different mc, will perform this year's hip-hop theme. ANd especially also because its a Wu-Tang Clan member. so lets see what "ODB" will do.

Oh and this VIP crap I don't like at all, although it seems to be a trend with production companies lately. It makes a party have an elitist feel to it with the separation of the regulars and the priveledged. Most people I know can't afford that kind of shit. I dunno...its just how i feel. Feel free to flame...:p

it's like disneyland or six flags that sells vip pases for their rides, so you can "Cut the line" when in reality everyone is buying a VIP pass, making tons of money for the company, but everyone is still in the same line...
 
^^^ most of the time its really not!! vip is bullshit, it IS just a way of makin the company more money for bs!! personally i think you are a sucker for getting a vip to most places... half of the time it is just being able to go to the "back" of the dj booth or " secret" room where the dj's "hangout"... ya whatever!! i prefer to just dance my ass off and chill the fuck out with people!!
yo krs-1 is the shit.... although their preformance wasnt great last time they were at one nation, everyone make mistakes, hehehehe!!
i am sure that the party is going to be pretty fuckin good this year!! besides you make what ever you want of it. i have been to all the one nations and they have never let me down!!

This is my point exactly. Heh...you are comparing a "rave" to disneyland. I'm not saying that it is a wrong comparison, but damn that sucks that that is what raves have become....corporate.
