Nuvigil and HCActive

Is it safe to take Nuvigil and Garcinia Cambogia together? Swim recently started taking 150mg of Nuvigil and has already been taking HCActive Garcinia Cambogia.Just wondering if its safe to use together or if they have a chance of making one another ineffective.

This isn't really NPD material. Hydroxycitric acid (the active constituent of Garcinia) should have no effect on Nuvigil. I would reccomend asking your doctor or pharmacist as well as removing the completely unnecessary acronym SWIM from your future posts.

Also hasn't there been several studies that have shown Hydroxycitric acid has no effect on weight loss? I thought this was yet another one of Dr Oz's quack drugs.

Like pinpoint said we don't do SWIM here, it doesn't protect you from incriminating yourself, and you haven't said anything incriminating anyways.

The Garcinia extract has some sort of serotonergic mechanism, so as long as you don't take it with an SSRI, MAOI or anything else that will increase serotonin activity (e.g. MDMA) you should be fine.
