Nutmeg extraction

Does anyone know a good way to extract myristicin from nutmeg? Has anyone done it before?
If so post your experience.

Id just eat it man, itd take about 6 hours to begin to effect the majority of your sences.... 8 hours nd ud be at about a the peak , odd kind of disconected fealing at that...

Yeah I'm not aware of any extractions ... at least not off the top of my head...

You'd first need to separate the nutmeg oil by steam distillation, and then you'd need a rather good vacuum fractional distillation apparatus to get pure myristicin from the oil. Not something you can do at home.

Would be really not worth it to be honest, nutmeg is so hit and miss, mainly miss that to go through all the trouble to extract the active ingredient would be a waste of time IMO
