nutmeg extraction

lil problem..

Theres a li problem thought:

Nutmeg oi contain different chemicals like:

1)Myrysticin
2)Safrole
3)Eugenol
(which are all very similar)

4)Borneol
(wich is similar to camphor, something u dont want,even if ancient chinese medicine used it extesively)

If someone could Find me a link stating the concentrations f the alkaloids i would be very glad.

and maybe some others in traces,
i think myristicin is the most aboundant, but if i want to purify it at 100% i probably shoud fractional vacum distill it plurious times.

Once i have pure myristicin Safrole and eugenol oil i "could" try to make some MDMA like structure, thought i have no experience on the subject.

I know safrole is used to make MDMA
Myristicin and eugenol can undrgo the same reactions i heard but ihave n info on their potency.
 
Does anyone know for sure what the active ingredient is? I don't think there's any guarantee it is myristicin.

unless you know for sure, extractions are pointless.
 
When I use nutmeg, I grind it up with a mortar and pestle, then I eat it mixed with ice cream. You can barely tell the nutmeg's there!
 
if you wanna try just a myristicin high try cooking powdered nutmeg (50-80c'max) in a strong liquor fora couple of hours.

like tequila or even better absinthe...hhehheee.

i tried eating nutmeg wth yougurt once and it made me fucking sleepy..but it was a smoooooooth day dream sleep......interesting i should say.

The whole house was loaed of smoke of carbonized numeg (nasty smell)/.

BTW i discovere th eugenik myristicin snd safrole are the mos water solublr substances in nutmeg are the most waer soluble ones,
next time im gonna try a boiling water extractio wthi mabe a pinch o hno
 
I fucke ud the nuteg extrction, woolke in the morningand i forgot the heating on and it all burned away spreading harsh smoke all over e house (i can still smell it)

BTw i found out the most the molecules of interest like mrysticin,safrole,eugeol,isoeurgenol are the most water solule, compared to the cmpor like substancespresetnt in the oil.

Maybe im gonna rey a reflux water (5%ethoh) extraction a feew times and later crystallise the product.
 
omg. so basic.

but if we don't even know that myristicin is the active, why bother with all this work? You could guarantee it, but it's all speculation, and you're downing carcinogens.
 
Or you could simply order steam distilled essential oil of nutmeg and fractionally distill the 8 percent myristicin content.

Got lot on my mind........silence is sacred;)

btw today im gonna try tasting a nutmeg tea....lets sea if its really has MAOI properties.
