They were expecting it to be C-III, but the DEA/FDA made it C-II...
It seems any opioid at all gets that classification with the exception of tramadol and combo products like vicodin and tylenol #1,2,3,&4...
If it's an opioid, it automatically is the most abusable substance on the face of the planet...
It really blows my mind that tylenol 3s and 4s sit in C-III while xanax sits in C-IV...I can't think of ANY other drug I've heard of (with the exception of bud) that gets used more.
