My doctor prescribed my nucynta. She told me if is stronger than norco. I didn't ask for anything stronger, Norco work for me. Does anyone know about this drug.

I've only heard about it just recently, but from what I hear...It's a lot like tramadol in its affects on the serotonin and norepinephrine receptors...

It's almost like hydrocodone is to oxycodone, as tramadol is to tapentadol

IMO, Nucynta is garbage. I get more recreational effects from Tramadol.

With that said, everyone is different and I'm sure some people love Nucynta.

It definitely does NOT feel like a S2 drug, nor should it be IMO.

They were expecting it to be C-III, but the DEA/FDA made it C-II...

It seems any opioid at all gets that classification with the exception of tramadol and combo products like vicodin and tylenol #1,2,3,&4...

If it's an opioid, it automatically is the most abusable substance on the face of the planet...

It really blows my mind that tylenol 3s and 4s sit in C-III while xanax sits in C-IV...I can't think of ANY other drug I've heard of (with the exception of bud) that gets used more.

I got on suboxone LONG before this came out. My doc's office has a nucynta poster on the door of the waiting room that I always get stuck in and let me tell you- TRIGGER! I can almost not stand the fact that there is a new CII i haven't tried... I hope it works well for you- therapeutically or otherwise!

I see that this is your first post and you registered in Jan of '09 lol...Why is this? lol
