Opioids Nucynta

^^ Yeah it looks interesting for sure. But sense the DEA un-necessarily put it in schedule II it won't be prescribed that much and therefore won't be seen that much..
 
I think there may have been one Trip Report on it in the past, but I'm not sure on that one (would be worth having a look).
Seems potentially nice :) Most likely to be a bit "speedy" due to the NRI effects. It depends how strong the reuptake inhibition is.

Basically nucynta is very similar to tramadol except more potent. It works on opioid receptors and also inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine so it has a speedier feel.

Its very new and scheduled higher than it should be so experiential reports are lacking but if you search BL there are at least a couple of threads on it with people using it for both therapeutic and recreational purposes.

What I think of it. I just paid a pretty penny for a 50mg pill of Nucynta. Took it about 25 min ago.

But before I do can some people give mne some insight as to what they think its equivalent to-- how many mg oxy, hydro, etc?

I usually take 30 mg hydro to achieve a small buzz and 60 mg gets me HIGH.
And 20 mg OXY and 40 mg OXY, small buzz, and high, respectively.

Will post again after an hour has passed.

Never had an experience, too bad it's scheldule 2. So many drugs I'd like to try just to cross of the to-do list. Looks promising though. I've seen reports of tramadol with suboxone, so I'd assume this might be able to be used with suboxone as well?

Not being a douche but don't you think you should have checked that out before taking it? I'm sure you won't fall out but maybe a little researching before chomping down some new drug might be on the safe side. At least so you know what you are getting in to.

But yes, please let us know how you are feeling when it kicks, I am curious.
 
i got nucynta beffore the 100mg tabs the doc that gave them to me told me 50mg was equal to 20mg of oxy....they suck i mean there a little stronger then tramadol and they are really good at not makeing you constipated but they suck after takeing 400mg of them it felt like i had takein a 60mg oxy but the effects lasted half as long and there was no euphoria at all.....and do not i repeat do not snort thease burn like a mofoooooooo

actually i spent about an hour researching its effects before i took it. I gathered that 50 mg was about equal to 5 mg oxy, and about 50 mg hydro. just wanted my fellow BL'ers to weigh in.

well after 90 minutes id say it SUCKS ASS and feels like neither oxy nor hydro, and I will never pay for this again. If i thought i would get it id go back and ask for my money back.

Nucynta = fail

That conversion makes no sense. 50mg of hydro to 5mg oxy? If it was true to the "formula", it would be like 3mg hydro to 5mg oxy or 50mg hydro to 75mg oxy. Somethings not right.

That said, you have no feelings what-so-ever from it? euphoria, energy buzz, nothing?
 
Youre right that doesnt compute. Anyway I feel like a TINY TINY bit of euphoria. Like Im not SUPER pissed that I got burnt, only MILDLY pissed and chalking it up to a lesson. Like 5 mg oxy or 7.5 hydro. For the price I would have paid for 50 mg hydro. LAME.
 
I think the pill sucks by itself but when you take two 50mg and a 750 of hydro you can definitely feel the diff instead of taking the hydro by itself

There's no such thing as a "750 of hydro" man, that number only corresponds to the amount of acetaminophen in the pill. The number in front of the big one is the hydrocodone amount (5, 7.5, 10)
 
i take 120mg Roxicodone x 6 Hours...took Nucynta 100mg...took 200..took 300..took 400..took the daily max. dose all at once as stated on Nucynta's website..Felt nothing but like i took a bunch of anti depressants, or a bunch of tramadol, which i hate both of them! Opioid tolerant patients, tell your dr. don't even "TRY" the medicine, it's f*cking pointless lol? The daily maximum dose of this Nucynta (Tapentadol) drug is 700mg, which compares to 70mg of Oxycodone. That covers about HALF of ONE dose for me...THANKS to my dr. he's great and i'm in sever withdrawals for 3 more days because he has left the country, also he doesn't see patients on the weekends. This will be fun!

F*ck Nucynta, unless you've never taken opiates. Then start with Nucynta and NEVER take opiates! Just my reccomendation opiates come with too much stigma and stereotype and you will always be persecuted for what you take, and trust me chronic pain sufferers tolerances will ALWAYS build..and build..and build..etc.
 
yeah, this is supossed to be like tramadol on steroids. from what i hear it deserves a C-V schedule if anything. really not that much more potent than tramadol (however some reports claim it is significantly more potent than tram). most would concur it deserves a C-III at best.
 
ya ppl who take percocet and vicodin like 5 or 10mg will like it...i wish this was out before I started taking painkillers because i could have used this! now im dependant on 360mg oxycodone and 200mg oxymorphone per day...so sad.
