Misc nucynta trumps bupe?

from what i gather, correct me if i am wrong, this stuff is the more potent metabolite of tramadol. since tramadol is not a typical opiod it seems to actually work despite being on suboxone. i would think that nucynta would work while on suboxone as well. any experience? NO speculation, please. thanks.
 
i think there was talk of this recently, and yes i believe this works while on bupe.
 
yeah i posted on the nucynta/tapentadol thread i snorted .5 mgs of bupe and less than 12 hours later took 400mgs nucynta and it definitely works while on bupe.
 
yeah, i saw your post, that is basically why i started this thread. im trying to see if anyone besides you had the same experience. well, being on bupe maintenance i guess this is nice to hear. i could use tramadol or nucynta and actually get a buzz. nice.
 
actually, what it would be useful for is the fucking oral surgery im about to have. im on bupe and going to have all 4 wisdom teeth out. 1 is rotting and hurts, even chipped off. another is fully impacted and growing into the bone. the third is partially covered by the gums....the 4th is ok, hehe.

the question is will the dentist script nucynta? im thinking fuck no since its C-II, thanks DEA.

he will most likely prescribe you vicodin or percocet because they are combined with APAP which makes them schedule III. You could always continue complaining about pain whatnot til you get something that actually works for you.
 
Percocet (Oxycodone/APAP) is CII.

If you talk to your dentist beforehand about your medication issues, possibly bring a note from your Buprenorphine doctor, and information about Nucynta, he may do it. If that doesn't work, try for Tramadol. It will be better than nothing (and by nothing I mean a weak opioid agonist script that won't do anything at all for you).
 
im pretty sure that unless you stopped (or ramped down to a small dose <1mg) the bupe for a few days that percocet wouldnt help. however ive heard that bupe is a really good painkiller so it might be of help to you. tramadol is C3 so you could ask for that instead, in fact they would probably rather give you tramadol than hydros or oxys (for obvious reasons)

and i would be almost certain that nucynta would help you while on bupe, good luck getting it scripted though with it being a CII and whatnot..id need another opinion here but would it be a good idea to just get a note or have your bupe doctor contact the dentist saying you need tramadol or nucynta? i dont know if theyd be willing to do it anyway they might just say not to give you anything due to addiction issues (if thats why youre on it)..i guessi would try for tramadol if i were you
 
tramadol is a given. if they know im an addict they will script that in a second. id rather have it than hydro or oxy, hehe. i just want a HIGH dose; 400mg a day. nucynta will be too much work. i mean i guess i could get a note from my bupe dr but C-II fucks it up bad.
 
I used nucyenta and it completely got me off of a 320-400mg a day oxy habit that had been going on for about 2 years. No pain at all it really helped and it was easy to do. I liked it way better then when I tried detoxing a year ago with suboxone

thats really cool. i havent ever heard of a story like that before with nucyenta.
i had the same luck as you except i had a heroin habit and i was able to get clean using suboxone with no pain or WD's. if only everyone else was as lucky as us.....
