Nucynta and Methadone/ Percocet question

I've been on Nucynta for about a year now in combination with oxy....i auquired some methadones is it safe to take? say 15mg methadone with 200mg nucynta? i know stupid questio but u could find anything about in the search engine. My tolerance is about 90mg oxycodone im tapering off any replies would help!
 
thats the thing i do...i memorize imprints on pills im terrible. but the combo of nucynta of methadone is ok right?

my tolerance is high, i mean i know how to take my roxicodone with my nucynta ect.....i have just never read about the combining of nucynta and methadone because the nucynta is a part agonist and part antagonist where as methadone is just an agonist so for all sake yes im opiate tolerant,this is the only combo iv never tired.
 
^There is a shitload of information on anything drug related right here at your fingertips. Bluelight is a treasure trove of information. Not to mention if you have a specific question about something, you are welcome to start a thread and ask it. (after reading the guidelines, of course.)

To answer the OP's question, if you have a tolerance you should be alright if you keep the dosages low. Don't go overboard. I don't think there are any specific dangers in combining the two, but for best results start lower than you normally would with either drug, don't take them at the same time and avoid re-dosing. The methadone will probably overpower the nucynta, but that's just a guess.
 
In my honest opinion. I would do the methadone by itself...

You will be hit by a surprise, as it takes way longer than the nucynta to kick in. Meaning it can go from good to bad really slow...

15 mg methadone sounds a little low for you. You have not said anything about how much nucynta you are already taking.
