Nubain dosage compared to morphine?

Hello all

I'm able to get injectable Nubain and was curious as to what a 20mg dosage was compared to morphine sulfate, Hydrocodeine, or Oxycodeine

I couldn't seem to find a comparison chart online anywhere

^nubain is nalbuphine, dont use it if you have a habit because it will induce WD, its an antagonist/agonist not a full agonist like oxy or methadone or morphine or heroin ect...

Nubain is eqiupotent to morphine. 20mg is close to 20mg of morphine, though it has some kappa(salvia-like) effects. Not as bad as some other mixed agonist/antagonist like Stadol in the kappa department. The respiratory depression has a ceiling of 30mg IIRC. Think that might be the ceiling for painkilling/euphoria too, not sure.

Demerol = meperidine and pethidine

Nubail is the name brand for nalbuphine. It's a totally different opiate then morphine as it has mixed mu agonist/antagonist effects and is a kappa receptor agonist as well. It's not prescribed much at all anymore because of the weird side effects that people get from this group of drugs which resemble a very weak and annoying salvia trip according to some people. Salvia is also a kappa agonist which is why kappa opioids make people feel really weird and can cause hallucinations.

If i didn't have a habit i would definitely give it a try though just to say i did. If you have ever had talwin (pentazocine) then you will have a good idea if you'll like the stuff or not.

Nubain vs Morphine? Seriously?

This is kind of llike asking Ford Tempo vs. Ferrari.

But as far as IV goes, morphine is 2x more potent than oxycodone and probably 3x more potent than hydrocodone. Morphine is also more potent than Nalbuphine (Nubain) - according to most charts, Nubain is one-fourth as potent as morphine.

So morphine is more potent than all 3 of the drugs.
