NSW: Dogs to search for drugs on most trains

this is what the general population wants to see to feel good that their tax dollars are being used correctly to eradicate this scrouge.

What about the government trying random sniffer dog car searches on say paramatta rd. just like random breath tests? Let the dog sniff around for 20 seconds then you're off?

I guess they have the opportunity to search many more people in a small amount of time with the trains though and they can't exactly jump into another carraige and speed off.

My friend got busted by the sniffer dogs on the train ... he went to court and got no fine and a 2 year bond.

If that isn't a callous waste of resources ... I don't know what is

it's an absolute disgrace.

At least he got off fairly lightly.
