^ That's a really stupid way to look at things. If you believe smoking weed is immoral, why do you do it? And just because it's "illegal," if that's what you meant, it's definitely not cool to steal people's drugs. We aren't gonna tolerance that shit in here.

How is it the devil's weed, and how am I pretending like I'm a saint? Using drugs to feel good isn't immoral, unless you assume anything that feels good is immoral also. Get your shit straight before you start posting in here.
 
I know you think its all chill, its not all chill to be immoral. Thats the problem with the devil's weed, once you get goin it all becomes about "chilling" and getting that same old buzz. Thats why you see so many deadbeats around.
 
I am the weed, especially with a handle like that, I think you're in the wrong place. Not all people who enjoy weed are deadbeats, just like those who enjoy a glass or two of wine are not. Do you find drinking immoral too?

Also, a lot of successful people do use drugs, probably moreso than these "deadbeat" types, especially marijuana. Just as an example, I know Chainer mentions this in here frequently but he's doing his undergrad with a double major and doing AWESOME, and I have a Master's degree. We are good people, we do good things for others, and I know we have helped those in need. While I may not be on as friendly of a basis, Vader is not a deadbeat either, nor is Swerlz, and our newest addition to our CD staff, papasomni is a bit older and very successful and comfortable. And guess what? We all smoke pot. We are all pretty open in here, and this is the CD staff, meaning we dedicate time to writing and moderating about cannabis here on BL. You really need to rethink why "weed is immoral" if you're going to hold that very stubborn, close-minded opinion.

Yes, there are plenty of deadbeat immoral losers who smoke pot, but that does not imply that everyone who smokes pot is a dead beat immoral loser. (To use your own word "immoral" which I don't use frequently, nor agree that drug use is any more immoral than sex for pleasure or indulgence in any substance, even caffeine, under your guidelines apparently.)

And being a dead beat isn't really immoral either. Do you know what morals are? Stealing money for weed or something like that is immoral. Smoking it itself is not.

And you've yet to explain how it is immoral. You just keep making these ridculous statements which don't even make sense. I see lots of dead beats and you know why? Becasue their lazy people in general. Oh and another great example of a huge stoner who's not a dead beat... JAMES FRANCO HARRIS. That is all.

There's actually a couple threads on BL about successful drug users, I'm nodding too hard to search for them now. But, the whole idea that drug use is "sin" and thus "immortal" is a conservatively religious one, so I'm guessing this is an argument that no one is going to win. Just try to open up and realize that, we all need to indulge sometimes, I have a straight-edge friend who is insanely addicted to the internet, and it's human nature, and if this "God" made us it's expected and a totally normal part of life.

stepping out in front of a car moving at 50+ mph to run across the road is fucking immoral. Nearly had a dead guy splattered all over my shit.
 
Its startin to think you gotta join team "get blissed out" just to fit in around here. IF there was some sort of god, and he designed our perception in a certain way, its immoral to go changin on that all the time. Thats why you see so many deadbeats.

^ I'd set up your printer for ya in exchange for a couple bongs. Long evening at work, almost overslept and missed a 3:30pm shift, but it turned out to be a very good one. Time for bongs, other drugs and relaxation.
 
yeah im about 20 min from sleep. waking up at 8am sucks. I still manage to get work done and still have time to enjoy some good ole' drugs.

for instance, i woke up at 10am today, smoked a blunt, read Aristotle on nicomachean ethics (50 pgs) and wrote a 4 page paper on it. Took a cig break, read some still for TA work, smoked a blunt, and then wrote another paper for prenatal psychology. Finished around 6:30, popped some xanax and kpins, and ripped a few bongs and a blunt thus far. Ambien in about 10 min and do it all over again tomorrow.
