Misc NSAIDs for pain

I prefer aspirin (excedrin) for headaches but doesn't do much for my back. Ibuprofen and tylenol are more effective for my back pain and costochondritis. Unfortunately taking fairly high doses daily is also killing my insides.

Ketorolac nasal spray is my new favorite for knocking out migraine pain. It is truly awesome. If I just need to give my other meds a boost, I think naproxen works the best....

I find ibuprofen and naprosyn to work wonders for my lower back pain, but find acetaminophen to work better for headaches (which obviously is not an NSAID)

I use nabumetone 500mg for pain, twice daily. it really helps alot, I find that it helps with the pain that I feel in the bones of my spine, by taking down inflammation of the muscles in my back and reducing swelling inside the vertebrae capsules

really depends on pain...for headaches ill use acetaminophen or aspirin....for body/muscle aches you cant beat ibuprofen...anything involving skin or stomach pain i would say go for an opiate, if you dont like opiates a whole lot use Tramadol or t-3's....

Tylenol 3's for stomach pain ???
UHHHhhhhgggggggg...............

i also use the effervescent aspirin/alka-seltzer for post-drinking hangover/headaches. they're good for that, although not for much else. i sometimes have pretty unpleasant back pain, and usually some muscle-relaxants work best for this (baclofen, cyclobenzaprine) but i've found myself often without any access to those, and in that case diclofenac is the best OTC thing there is. i've also used it in conjuction with opioids for a fractured hand, and it was fairly effective for that too.

Short Acting NSAID= toradol (ketorlac)

Long Acting NSAID= Arthrotec 50mg/200mg (50mg Diclofenac/200 mcg misoprostol)

Isn't that backwards? Toradol has a 3~9h half life, diclofenac is about 1.5h.

Persoanlly I like ibuprofen, I find 200-600mg works great. 10mg toradol doesn't pose any real benefits over 400mg ibu for me.

APAP doesn't kill pain for me.

i

Ibuprofe cause it's cheap and easily available. Piroxicam (Brand naame Feledene Gel) is great for bone pain!

I was using methadone, heroin, morphine and MXE for the pain until I tried this.

I hate them all but i slept wrong last night so im about to pop 800mg of ibuprofen....it better fucking work too my neck hurts like a bitch

I find it hilarious that my prescription ibuprofen 800mg costs me about <no price discussion> for 60 pills (with insurance obviously), yet 200mg over the counter advil costs like <no price discussion> or so for 50 pills. Any time my doc just recommends taking advil I'm like umm can you write me a script for it? lol....
