NPS Act V1. Blankets? Just Say No!

In a way it would be good for them to stamp out the legality of many of these RC stims and benzo's at the moment. Stims remain illegal so the RC stim people are left with coke, MDMA, meph or speed the only 4 stims in most towns (better because we know a little about those and how to deal with it when there's a problem), educate them about that. And the RC benzo people should be taken into the doctors, assessed what dose they were on, and tapered off with diazepam.

I don't support prohibition, but I don't want to be a guinnea pig to all these nyaff RC's the Chinese are pumping out. I think personally they are better off banned, review which ones could be good, and sell them off to be made for RC's humans will be sold. Legal or blackmarket whatever.

It makes better sense to have people in our country with access to drugs we know more about and promote knowledge so people know to test their MDMA, pills, coke, meph, promote the use of Wedinos and EC as services to test purity. Tell people what real looks like and what fake cuts do. There would be less deaths with this approach, less people taking pills that contained something dodgy at a rave, more knowledge means more safety.

Stamp out bad drugs, unknown RC's, educate about what's already out there. Even keep it illegal, and that's a better system than we've had for years.

That's the problem with prohibition, it breeds ignorance.

I'm not saying all drugs should be legal but by not banning most ( all) leads to education.

Cocaine heroin MDMA speed mephedrone and any psychedelics well researched should all be sold via the government or legal to consume, but produced in controlled government labs to end the issue with impurity. The amount of money they would make by doing that, and jobs with education and the distribution of the drugs. You could limit people to buying however many at the club or have a personal amount each person is allowed at home too. Coke limit people to buying an 8th a week max not so much problems can come of that. The bankers with heavy habits still get their fix. And give heroin out on the NHS, no more of the failed morphine treatment. Weed shouldn't even be considered a drug to be limited either really, as you can buy how many bottles wine in tescos?

The thing is that will never all happen. Society isn't governed by sense. But just now I think it would be best if they just banned all RC's until they have been researched for a minimum of 5 years then maybe they could be a legal high. Ultimately however I'd be looking to educate people about the current drugs available and how to use them sensibly and not get ripped off. Steer them back to drugs we know about rather than the great alphabet soup of the unknown.

If you had ever had any pychological issues that were being ignored by your doctor you might find yourself in a similar positions. There but for the grace of God. I've had sleeping problems for twenty years & have consistently been unable to get prescibed for it. Twenty years. I'm very grateful for the occasional good nights sleep afforded by Etizolam,

I dispute that only vulnerable have an increased access to drugs. I don't consider myself vulnerable in any way.

Although the jury is out on the High Street Legal High thing, RC's bought through quasi-legal sites all over the planet are going to continue to wreak havoc. Pushing the whole business under the carpet & into the shadows is hardly likely to reduce harm. However, I accept that if the law change reduces or completely halts the sale of High Street Legal Highs, that might actually be a good thing...

The parents of a 13 yr old boy were on TV the other morning. The danger associated Legal Highs was epitomised by their story, but no-one, not interviewer nor parent, seemed in the slightest bit interested in asking WHY a 13 yr old kid would be interested in getting "high" in the first place. Until that question is answered, we'll still have hundreds of kids a year falling foul of hugely dangerous but incredibly easy-to-get-hold-of psychoactive chemicals like glue or duster, now that they can't get comparatively safe drugs such as Synthetic Cannabinoids....

I'm in favour of whatever reduces the availablity of harmful drugs to kids but I fail to see how driving the entire scene into the dark is going to do anything other than increase the harm from drugs. When this experiment begins, we'll begin to find out.

I dont post much. I just want to say that this extremely well written and illistrates a high-functioning brain.

When I was a kid in the US we were bombarded with an egg cracking and being fried and told this is your brain on drugs.

I was a timeshare salesman making 50k per year on avg. I got addicted to poppy pods after likingy vicodin too much.

I also had debilitating pain for years prior that adversely affected me on too many levels to list. Its incurable, according to the docs and there is no real treatment due in part its perceived rarity.

Since getting hooked on Poppy Pods I have built 2 businesses from being in the red to half a million dollar net profits. This pain caused me to not want to even interact with other humans.

Now I have competitors paying me for my services. I stayed at relatively the same dose for 3 years. A 33 percent increase from my initial dose.

My blood work is perfectly fine. I dont get colds or the flu. I have had ups and downs in my life in terms of women. I broke up with 2 who were probably going to be my future wife. I did so because I feared they would see my one day when my pain was at its worst. One could almost say I was bipolar because on my worst days I would barely talk, but on better days all of the effort I put into trying to appear as a normal person when even talking was close to impossible, seemed to create a rather quick-witted charming personality when pain was below a 4.

My social life is better than ever. I didnt use this drig to get high. Not to say I wouldnt throw an extra 25mg in once in a while for 'fun'.

I was on the brink of losing my house to foreclosure before this happened

Poppy pods are very expensive, yet I acheived so much financial success they became a drop in the bucket. I would even pay more for domestic orders to mitigate the risk of customs and a controlled delivery.

Long story short, during my 'addiction' I have acheived more business and social success than ever before. Im paying a lot more taxes now.

Im not a doctor guy but bought every supplement I thought had a chance to cure me. Maybe a doctor would have helped.me...Who knows.

One thing is for sure. Long-acting subtle opiates saved my house, 2 businesses, knocked 50lbs off my new partner now that his financial woes are gone thanks to my newfound or newly uncovered business skill and work ethic.

Its not perfect. With anythng there are drawbacks.

My PP vendor ran out and hasnt been able to re-stock. Thats why Im in the RC scene now. Havent been able to get the same results from anything out there. Im bit less worried of legal repercussions with my new substances(phenibut, etizolam) to name a few. Theyre also cheaper but more side effects and more crap days since I dont want to be dependent.

Anyway, I wanted to add a different take on quasi-legal drug use, as well as point out the fact that prohibition as well as prohibitive costs of our healthcare scam in the US probably cost me a chance to fully enjoy the best years of my life.

I went from barely making the rent. Long periods of drought with the ladies to some very great relationships and friendships and a complete turnaround BECAUSE of quasi-legal highs.

The more they tighten this noose, fewer and fewer people will be able to escape.their own personal hell and become.high-functioning members of society.

As I said I was quicker-witted, eloquent in both speech and writing on a consistent enough basis to live the best years of my life. Because PPT, used therapeutically had 0 ill effects that 3 grams of L Arginine(relieves constipation acts as a vasodilator, stimulates hgh, and a few other benefits that might fall under TMI) didnt ameliorate.

The points made in this thread are so true, and those prone to abuse of a substance will always find something, but these laws that limit what is available from nature to treat almost anything have indeed created a clustefuck of scary new substances and the harm they are causing and will cause to our people cant even be quantified really.

I cant get ppt reliably any more because of them and my performance is right back to where it was 4 years ago and maybe worse, considering the side effects and brain fog that comes from what Im doing now.

Who knows what crazy shit is coming down the pipe when these get banned.

Even after I get to the other side of my one day to come, hellish opiate withdrawal I will be a better, more successful and confident individual based on the confidene gained from the accomplishments I enjoyed during my 3 years of living as close to a normal life as I ever have, thanks to access to legal, and maybe more importantly NATURAL therapeutic treatment.

Some of these drugs do have therapeutic value, unquestionably, used in the right context, safely and responsibly. What this government is doing is effectively outlawing drugs that don't even exist yet, setting back any kind of clinical research into these or other lead compounds.

While some of these drugs almost killed me, when I was being reckless and self destructive, some of them absolutely have improved my quality of life in the past aswell as my ability to realise my potential, I'm doing no harm to anyone, I'm responsible and well informed and stay safe when I take these drugs, treating them like any other medicine, and why the hell should some moralistic, puritan, ignorant government tell me I can't do this? It is the kind of thing you would expect ISIS to do, not a supposedly civilised 'democracy'.

Making drugs illegal won't make them magically dissapear. They won't magically remove anyones reason for taking them. It will simply hand the market to organised crime and result in much more harm being done to individuals and communities.

After years of frustration and misery I have finally found 2, maybe 3 drugs that absolutely help me, in a way that years of treatment with 'legitimate' drugs supplied by the likes of Pfizer and Glaxo totally failed.

Fuck this legislation and fuck this corrupt, disgusting government.

Hi Ceres brother. Hope your well.

What do you think will happen in the last few weeks of March right before the ban comes in? Do you think vendors will have a massive bargain basement sale to get rid of their stock? If they do then for fuck sake dont tell FUBAR...He'll buy a hundred weight of 3-F and may quite probably fuck his missus into a coma :) :)

I'm good thanks, good to see you posting again!

Yes, i'm sure there will be a firesale, people will stockpile and end up with large amounts of drugs like 3-fpm, benzos and cannabinoid receptor antagonists. The law won't make these drugs magically dissapear.

It's not like anything gets into the country from anywhere in the EU, is it? 8)

My view is that the law will stand for 3-5 years, long enough for every possible psychoactive modification in terms of the societal definition of a "drug" to be specifically made illegal. Once everything is specified the blanket will be repealed and psychiatric research and a bag of Skittles will no longer be de facto illegal.

It won't after Brexit ..... The only thing that obliges the Continentals to have any dealing at all with us are the very treaties from which we are about to withdraw. Any excuse to spite us. It's not as though we export anything they might want; and since we hardly manufacture anything at all and rely on imports, they will be perfectly positioned to shaft us.

There will not be a referendum until Cameron has convinced the public to stay in. I'll accept I'm wrong if I am proven so with time. But my gut feeling is, Pigboy is fundamentally a capitalist. Britains EU membership might costs the average tax payer but the average millionaire is reaping money from the union. They aren't going to let Britain withdraw I am certain of it.

This is a tangent though. Even if Britain does withdraw from the EU, mail to the UK will still get through.

But bludee immegrunts r teh blame 4 evryfin!

If we lose the NHS I have absolutely zero intention of staying in this country.

Er.. Too late man...

An interesting observation since Australia's analogue laws were introduced several years ago effectively banning anything that might even give you a slight tingle, the quality of pills has increased. In fact a recent report from the South Australia police stated that every single pill that had been tested this year following a drug bust actually contained MDMA.

There is a chance that some cheap RC being used as cuts or just perhaps consumer market forces have dictated only the best chemicals survived.

Interesting about the quality of the pills. I do agree unresearched RC's should be prohibited until we actually know how they work and what the possible side effects are. If this was done only ones which were safe/worth taking would prevail.

Which is probably a very low percentage of them ha.

I actually saw this gem on a BBC Have Your Say once:
some idiot said:
There are too many immigrants, I'm leaving this country!
Anyway, at least we can have a new National Anthem for the UK after leaving the EU:
No-one likes us
No-one likes us
No-one likes us
We don't care .....

That quote reminds me of all the americans who were threatening to move to canada over their healthcare bill. Gotta love some people, they make for something great to point and laugh at.
