Every time I close my eyes
I see your face
And I don't want to see it
But I just can't help myself.
My eyes are streaming with warm tears
Down my face and I can lick my lips
And just taste the saltiness.
This feeling is wrong.
Being in your arms is wrong.
Feeling your lips on mine is wrong.
Having your warm arms wrapped around my body is wrong.
Everything about you is just wrong.
The rain hits my windows as I grip the steering wheel
On my way home
And you're just on my mind.
You shouldn't be there though.
But every time I hold your hand
And look in your eyes
It just brightens a sad day.
And when you're not there,
I still feel your eyes on me
And I know you must be thinking of me.
(I know it's bad, but I'm just starting up again after two months of writer's block....*sighs*)
