Rolling seems pretty universal in the US, or at least it seams that way, I guess we don't have specific word for being off it on MDXX and rolling does sound a bit lame in the UK but like others have pointed out there is many an expression used over her that is equally as odd, I've never heard anyone use the word Swedger except on here, but the I is outa touch wid da yut innit

Swedgers or just swedge is pretty much a local thing as far as I know. I wouldn't ask an English person if they had any swedgers, I wouuldn't expect them to know what I meant.

It comes from calling them sweeties & for some reason swedger has always been a slang term for sweety (as in sweets that you eat). My gran would know that swedgers meant sweeties.

'Ripped To The Tits' has always struck me as a quintessentially British expression, love it.

That's extremely interesting about 'swedgers', it's a word which always seemed to convey the dunt and the dirt of getting muntered but it obviously arrived via a very different route.
