I'm primarily a psychonaut. I use drugs for self exploration, though in a sense recreational as well. If i ever get the chance to life somewhere i could do this without worrying, I would love to have a psychoactives garden.

If you could have such a thing what would you have in it?

If you could, try to consider restraining factors such as climate conditions. That said, what would the most plausible home grown psychoactives be?

Heres a list of what I would grow if I could.

Mushrooms, psilocybin as well as a amanita muscaria
Opium poppies
Coca
Ephedra
Cannabis
Mimosa Hostilis
Salvia

I might add, perhaps a colony of Bufo alvarius?

sounds like an awesome idea, ive always wanted to do this but never got around to it :(

I'm growing a couple of cacti (peyote & pedro), although I wouldn't harvest them for anything.

Poppies & a few types of datura are common here.

I'd grow some mimosa hostilis
A wall covered in morning glory vines
A nice shady area to grow a variety of mushrooms
A few different types of catus would have their little play area
Probly some Datura for novelty and the nice look of the plant
Of COURSE a nice area where some different strains of mairjuana plants could grow
Some poppies
Salvia plants if I could manage to get ahold of some to grow
Probably a bunch of different herbal things if they would grow...indian warrior would be nice, Mullein, etc

Also, a shed in the back where I keep my lab so that I can create my own synthetic psychoactives.

would you be able to have a controlled specimen of ergot fungus just stashed away somewhere? Like on an agar plate or something?
That would be great for the lab.

And I would grow Kratom as well as everything else.

I have a few hardy San Pedro/Peruvian torch varieties in addition to two small Salvia divinorum plants. I lost my two peyote cacti last winter. :(

I was also recently gifted a couple specimens of this unique cultivar, the penis plant

... aptly named in German, Frauenglück ("Women's luck").

Don't forget banisteriopsis caapi. I would also probably grow a ginkgo biloba tree, even though their psychoactive activity is still under scrutiny, because they're so pretty.

I really want to plant a bunch of psychedelic plants but it seems they all grow only in hot climates. I can only grow annuals up here, marijuana grows well but what I really want to grow is a massive cactus garden; which I cannot do. :(

I do suppose I could grow morning glories. Not the biggest fan of their effects though.

All I need are some home-grown shrooms, some self-extracted DMT, and some home-grown cannabis. :)

Of course, I want a lot more cool stuff than that. :D But those three drugs are fuggen incredible-- especially DMT, you don't really need anything else.

thanks for all the replies!
i completely forgot cacti, gotta have those, id probably just pick san pedro
and morning glory would be good to have too

It's all about climate bro. Have fun trying to grow cacti in Pennsylvania. ;)

I grow cacti in Canada in pots that I bring inside over the winter but I only get maybe 2 inches per year. In a warm climate like the southern US, they grow at least a foot per year, and you can plant them in the ground where they turn into a massive bush with 20 arms. I've seen some trichocereus pics of them in the ground where one plant would give you a mescaline trip every 2 weeks, perpetually; and that's just 1 plant.

It's possible to have that..... if you live in a warm climate.
