I tried logging in using what I was almost positive was my password and when it failed I requsted an email. Blulight said it sent the email but I never recieved it..I did recieve the email about the failed login attempts and requested a new password twice but it will not show up in inbox or spam folders. Any ideas on this weird predicament...

If you continue to have problems, you can try a different email... especially if you use something like yahoo, which is notorious for not sending BL emails through. It might be good to register a gmail account if you dont already have one.

again....

I've run into the same problem as I posted a thread about the other day. I have checked my email like 5 million times inbox, spam, any folder and NO email is ever sent. and im still 99 percent sure I am tryingto correct password. I would have posted in the originl thread but it wouldn't let me. :( :(

Hey mods does the email password function just send your current password or reset it and send you a new generated string? I just went and took a quick look at the form and it seems to me you need to enter the matching email address to even reset it so there is no chance that radric_davis is checking the wrong addy.

Hey radric_davis have you tried using a different computer on a different IP? Either that or clearing cookies, cache, history, keychains, and getting a new IP? Won't be applicable if you have "reset" the password and just can't get the new email with it in it.

If I remember correctly you are emailed a link by which you can temporarily log in and change your password. Its been a while. Radrick, is the email you are watching for end like what TLB said in post #6?

The account is "radric davis" with an email addy of "[email protected]"

I've given you what you need in order to send yourself either new activation codes (if your account was awaiting activation...which happens when you register or when you change your pwd), or to reset your password (if you locked yourself out). In both instances, YOU use the links provided in order to trigger the server to send you an email upon which you can act. If you're sitting there waiting for an email from us, we haven't sent one, and don't intend to.

For reference:

Password Reset form

Email Activation Codes

Now, to bring this back to what's happened between when you raised the issue and when you just posted that you are still locked out....the account has made posts in the following places:

Documentary: The Vice Guide to North Korea

do you think DMT has anything to do with an after life

stoned all the time

So, it appears the account can be logged into and is functioning fine (I see it is currently at BLer status). How do you explain being locked out (according to this SUPPORT thread) and simultaneously posting in multiple forums with a valid, active account? I can't, unless your left hand doesn't know what your right hand is doing...and your right hand is the one with the password.

email still WON'T SEND

Ok I know this is weird but I have REPEATEDLY requested a new PSWRD and while it says it has been emailed to me, it is NOT there, and yes I am checking the right hushmail account. The way i posted in those threads was returning to bluelight to find i was already signed in. I thought somehow the mods sighned my account in after seeing this thread....becuase i never recovered my password. I returned again to find my account was again signed out and so i requested a new password AGAIN and it STILL will not shot up in my email. I'm really not trying to screw around I just want my account back.

So you were the one who made those posts which TLB mentioned yes?

The next time you get access to the account make sure you change the password manually and select a different email address. Does anyone else have access to your computer?

^^what amapola said, next time you see it logged in, manually change it.

We cannot log anyone's account in for them. Not possible. Though the system does log people out when they are gone for an extended time and did not check the 'remember me' box (which I assume you have checked, if it is being logged in for you).
