Cocaine Not getting high

First time I did cocaine, I was already drunk, not hammered but drunk. Did 2 lines of what I would now consider pretty good cocaine, and at the time didn't notice a woah I'm on cocaine high. But the day after I definitely looked back and could point out the subtle euphoria, just thinking about how much I enjoyed that hour after doing said lines. I think it is one of those drugs for some people that takes a few goes to be instantly noticeable and appreciated.

A rule of thumb is to never combine drugs when taking one of them for the first time, so since you took coke for the first time you shouldn't be mixing it with alcohol, even if you wait a few hours. It can still mask the effects of the alcohol so when it wears off you will be way drunker than you may intend.

As for why you didn't get high, well it could be that you just don't like cocaine. Personally I find it to be a shit drug, so even if it's working on me I don't feel good on it since I don't like stimulants.

This. I remember doing blow and drinking one time I polished off a 26er of goose and as soon as the coke wore off fuck I was drunk!

In my humble opinion, you got some crappy white powder, OP. Yes, everyone is different and people react to things unusually sometimes but I never had any trouble feeling cocaine regardless of the ROA.

It could be that your cocaine was very impure. It could also be that to achieve effects it must be taken in more than one instance; this phenomenon is not limited to cannabis.
 
Thanks for the answers guys.But I got another question,a friend of mine also tried to snort it for the first time yesterday,and she started having pretty bad headaches while my other friend,who had snorted before,did like 5 lines and got very high.I also tried a line but,once again,couldnt feel anything.Is it normal to have headaches after snorting?
 
some people are more sensitive to the effects of cocaine. it is likely you have expectations about what the high will be like, and because of this you are geting high but don't know what it feels like. the likely answer is the quality is low.

I'd say yes, snorting anything will often lead to sinus headaches.
 
nothing wrong. I blame your dumbass friend. He's most likely acting the "high", alot of cokeheads dont even know what the hell they're putting up their nose. Just the act of using a razor and chopping that white powder and railing it with pen tube makes them think they're badass and that they are actually doing coke. Even worse, watching dumbasses using paper bills to rail and credit cards to chop.
 
I'm gonna go with what a few have already said - crappy coke. Look, it's common with coke for people to get bunk but because they paid a lot they convince themselves they feel great from it. I see some folks here saying that the coke high is subtle and so forth, overrated, ya-da-ya...do you seriously think that people get addicted to feeling crappy from something that cost three digits of green? Nope. The coke high is anything but subtle. Granted its not reckless or "speedy" per se, but the euphoria it produces in damn near everybody is quite significant, varying effects notwithstanding. Good coke is wonderful, bad coke (substitutes and cuts) suck ass. It was likely the latter my man.
 
i know the OP was talking about intranasal use, and i remember the first time i ever snorted coke, i got high. however, when i first shot coke, i didn't get high. the second time, WHOOOSH.

If your friend did like 5 lines then I would hope that he got high. It just takes me a bump to feel the high from cocaine, but I personally don't like it and am looking for it to end right when it starts. I've never done a big line of it, and wouldn't want to or need to for that matter. So I'm going to go ahead and agree with the majority of the people here that have said that the coke was just shitty.

Also, your other friends headache could have been caused by the dehydration that cocaine causes.
 
I've always found the stimulation ( heart rate, racing mind etc ) on cocaine is very noticeable. Yet the euphoria is barely noticeable, that is why cocaine is a complete shit of a drug. I've had good quality cocaine to, trust me and the euphoria is still always subtle. It's almost like you have to look for the euphoria, it doesn't just present itself. Cocaine = garbage.
 
^ The only time that I can enjoy cocaine a little is when I am drinking alcohol, but that is more toxic and makes for one hell of a hangover, so I can't recommend it.
 
There's only been one time when I've done coke and I was like "Whoa... I'm high". Most of the time it's just a nice background push that makes whatever you're doing better, not necessarily in your face euphoria or anything like that.
 
I did coke for 3 months many years ago.
I always snorted it.
Coke is BY FAR my favorite drug. For me, it is better than oxycontin, weed, nicotine, and alcohol.

I could feel the first line very soon afterwards, but it generally took 3-6 lines before I started to feel great. There was one time in particular where I felt so good I thought I was going to die. It was unbelievable how good it felt.

I guess I was lucky it wasn't cut too much OR it doesn't take much of the drug to have an awesome effect on me.

This was my dosage schedule when using:
1 line starting out... and then 2 lines every 20 minutes... continue for 2.5 or 3 hours... I found that anything longer than 3 hours resulted in a massive comedown AND paranoia... 4-5 hours = auditory hallucinations... so I always tried to cut it off at 2.5 hours to minimize side effects and get some sleep.

Absolutely have never done anything close to pure -
Uncut cocaine = euphoria bliss
80 % cut = your discription
 
If its coke then you will feel it, a racing heart and numbness doesnt make it coke if your not getting any other effects. The first time i tried coke was at least 10 years ago and i remember it as the most wonderfull euphoric high. If your coke is at all decent then you will know it and will not have to post threads whether it is coke or not, you may have idiot friends who stick anything up the snose but you have to be smarter.

BTW, headaches are often what you get from shit crushed up with panadol or other pills etc....
 
I know several RC stims that cause numbness, who knows how many other things cause it too, at least 3 people I gave pentedrone to were convinced its coke just because it numbed their mouths lol. Except after 10 minutes they didn't really get much higher than that.

BTW If you think about it this thread is basically drug ID thread.
