Hey everyone! I thought i'd use one of my fav quotes and maybe attract some other LOTR fans. I'm completely new to this site and am just trying to figure it all out still. I'm a 25 year old woman living in the valley in Los Angeles. I have some serious health issues and I hope to maybe meet some fellow pain suffers and learn about some successful tactics and meds for pain management. I'd love to just talk to any other sufferers and make some new friends(age or sex doesn't matter) It's hard talking about my pain to my in real life friends that aren't sufferers cause they just don't get it.WELL about me, I work in health care. I love movies, i'm a HUGE movie buff, obsessed with WWII history and i'm a bit of a gamer girl so I love to play my 360. If we talk and become friends maybe I'll give you my gamertag. I'm also willing to trade pics! I'm only a greenlighter atm so feel free to email me, [email protected] since my responses may be limited! Hope to hear from some of you! Great intro! :) We have a good deal in common. Big reader-English Major-big Tolkien fan,history buff,military history buff(WW II geek),I am 35 and still own my original Atari from childhood,have a ps3,no xbox yet,but one day. :)

Holy crap! We have the exact same interests!

I love gaming (COD or Battlefield ;)) on 360. If I'm not on Bluelight, chances are I'm on live =D I am also fascinated with WW2 history. Name a book or movie about it and chances are I've read/seen it ;)

Wonder what would have happened, had the tides (excuse pun) been turned and the americans lost and Japani in the Battle of the coral sea, and had an fairly open shot at Australia. In my perspective it would be safe to say that the Japanese would have been a force to reckon with had they maintained control over the pacific.

But my next theoretical question would be what, would have Australia done during the war if it went that way (assuming they were already battle prepared) and ready to go. That would be interesting to debate because, would the US needed to have dropped 2 nukes? IF they had to would they have been in the same places? How prepared were the aussie defenses (shit wasnt covered in our Amurhikan texts).

If only we had the place to talk of such wonders...........
