I got prescribed Napp 10mg oxycontin. It's a white pill and I set about scraping off the coating one day. Couldn't tell where the coating stopped so just kept scraping until the pill felt less rubbery and more powdery. Anyway I railed what was left and got a dirty high for all that trouble, more nausea than buzz. Anyone have any ideas why and how I can make them work as I have quite a few of these things.

Nausea is a common side effect of opiates which appears often when you take too much. I'm surprised you felt nauseous from just 10mg but my mother can from just 5mg. She doesn't like opiates because of this.

Well nausea is a common side effect with all opiates. You may get sick this time but not next time.
For i guess my first 5 times using opiates i got incredibly nauseous and vomited. All were a result from using oxycodone and i kept trying it, amidst all the nausea there was an incredible feeling peacefulness that kept me coming back. Eventually the nausea became a thing of the past and all i was left with was blissful apathy

I first tried opiates several times 10 years ago & got completely nauseated & swore I would never try opiates again & didnt for 10 years because of how lousy they made me feel. Last year I tried them again for my back pain & they worked great w/o any nausea involved. Weird how things change given time.
