I guess you could probably say the fight for gay rights is a fight for happiness as well. But yes you are right it's not exactly something you are born with

There are also some similarities,

1. Drug users get called names
2. Demonised by the media
3. De-humanised
4. Activity descrived as "vile"
5. Percecuted by the law
6. Witch hunted (e.g. drug tests for welfare/work)
7. Personal space violated (e.g. house and body searches)

They should permanently put this at the top of the dugs in the media page as a call to arms. I am sick of all the misinformation that is being spread in some papers

i agree. let's not be lazy, and sign up for these fail newspapers, and comment politely with scientific sources...

for both drugs and sexuality, there are varying degrees of genetic basis. you're not born with either, it's something that occurs during development, whether prenatal or infant or toddler or adolescent or later (the later, the rarer) for both drugs and sexuality.
