Social Nostalgia New Years Eve Paris 1968 The Who-Small Faces

Music by The Who was highly influenced by growing up in British culture. We see this in the rock opera Quadraphenia, as a resident of the US music by The Who does not resonate with me the way I imagine europeans may or may feel the same about American music. Roger Water's The Wall is a very personal look at his childhood, WW 2, educational institution and family relationship. While certain aspects of music expression may be universal for me much is news to me.
