Nosebleeds

I did a search but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I have noticed that my nose is starting to bleed more frequently in the past weeks. I used to get them all the time as a young kid, but they went away around puberty. Anyway, they just kinda start for no reason and take forever to stop. The only thing I have ever snorted was my first line of cocaine last night....only one. It felt fine all night, but today around 3 it started bleeding in class (not fun). Also, I have had a few the day after I roll...possibly the Vicks dries out the membranes? Has anyone else noticed this, and does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?
 
Sounds like similar problems to me. I used to get nosebleeds all the time as a kid, from about 7-16 or so. They would just start randomly, didn't even use drugs then. I had to have my nose cauterized it was so bad.
Anyways, I got older, the nose bleeds stopped. The only thing that gives them to me now is coke. No matter if I do a little or alot, I'll be sure to be stuffed up and bleed a bit the next day.
My best advice is just to avoid blowing your nose. All that mucous that your nose makes, leave it in there and it will help to block the bleeding so that if your nose does bleed, it won't come out, usually.
Oh, and hot showers after a coke binge are sure to make my nose bleed and go drip drip drip.
 
Um, lets see, no nosae bleeds, he does coke then gets a nosebleed... hrmm.. yes, I think we can concur that the cocaine had something to do with it...
As I have said - soothing Afrin, and some tissue.. you'll be fine..
 
I don't think it's right to just say that coke gives nosebleeds. I too had nosebleeds a lot as a kid, and had the same nostril cauterised twice. I've only taken coke three times - I took a lot my first and second times, which were two nights, three days apart. This was in Italy, where the quality of coke was absolutely brilliant, compared to what awaited me here when I got back...
My third time taking coke, I didn't take as much, didn't have as much fun, and suffered nosebleeds the next day. Conclusion - badly cut coke causes nosebleeds.
 
if its NOT the coke go to a local pharmacy or kmart or something and get yer BP checked from one of those machines...high bp = nose bleeds
 
I a lot of people I know get nosebleeds, hell, even I do from time to time.. well, ok, that no longer true since I destroyed my septum and collapsed a good amount of cartalidge.. the entire BP theory is blown to shit because this happends when snorting ANY DRUG! After a long night of snorting narcotics I can get a nose bleed - as of late, my BP is normal (though like I said, I don't get that many nosebleeds anymore..
It's simple - you're introducing a forgine - and often harsh - chemical to sensitive tissue, this agrovates it and the capularies (sp?) can bleed.. oh well, consider it a battle wound!
 
another reason why coke sux.
even after snorting meth on a very regular basis for about 6 months--the ONLY time i got nosebleeds from that was after shoving WAY too much up there in a short amount of time. the last couple lines usually ended up pretty bloody...but most of the time it wasn't "dripping" with blood--it was just like if i stuck a tissue in my nose it would come out with blood on it
anyways--but after doing coke 1 fuckin time--after doin 2 lines--my fucking nose started bleeding....gushing blood really--A LOT. it was probably some nasty cut shit. who knows. ugh. coke sux!!!!!

Go see an ENT (why isn't this in medical?)!
I had chronic nosebleeds that were related to papilloma virus (warts) in my nose. Dr. said they could later lead to cancer. You need to know what the real cause is instead of getting opinions from non-professionals. Could be simply low humidity, or a much bigger problem. Get thee to a Dr.
 
my experience with snorting (which is fairly significant) has led me to conclude that it's not so much the substance that your snorting, but how and with what. i've noticed that using a cut straw will frequently cause nosebleeds, as will using crisp paper as a tuter(sp?), whereas a nice soft and oft-used dollar bill does not. i assume this has to do with the hard/sharp edges on the former, versus the thicker/softer edge of the latter. further, i try to keep the tuter at the outermost wall of the nostril (i.e., not the middle cartlidge), which also helps. first year i snorted, i'd get nosebleeds once out of maybe 5 or 10 times. now, it's hardly ever, and i use daily.
