So after chronic drug use I have some moderate nose issues, the typical stuff: dryness, scabbing - the edges on the tip of the nose being pretty delicate..

What's a simple normal thing you can apply? Vaseline, moisturizer? Lip balm type stuff?

That's a good question that I'd love to know a good answer to.

I use saline solution and sometimes medicated coconut oil balm or lotion on the bottom edges.

I recently saw an ENT too and he recommended Flonase.

Hardly anymore at all, but 2 months ago I had a few gr of mxe that I used via that route - was on a downward path because of repeated big setbacks. Since then I dumped all my dissociatives and am soon getting rid of other things too - things not kept where I am now. Cleaning up as far as addictives / narcotics are concerned - though psychedelics I will only shelf deeply.

So no not planning on snorting anything, really.
I've had minor issues with my nose for quite a while, though never really that serious. I guess being sober I notice it more, and I am sensitive to bodily irregularities etc of any kind that annoy me and I have a hard time just leaving it alone to heal. Some places have tissue that seems too confused in a way to heal naturally or at least at a reasonable pace. It's starting to concern me looking a bit further ahead in the future now. Better to tend to it in time.

Thanks, Theloneliest Monk..
Is saline for flushing though? Or isotonic hydration? I've only ever used saline nasally for flushing.
The balm doesn't irritate? I guess it's not applied where membranous tissue begins then..

I was just going to say do not use straws, it did not take me long to find that out. My nose would bleed and I would think "my nose shouldn't hurt and bleed like it does "I come to figure out "Don't use straws!"

Try search essential oils for skin, and just apply it overnight, wash it off in the morning. Coconut oil, emu oil, jojoba oil, lavender oil, rosehip oil, etc.

There is an ayervedic method to help the nasal passage that involves tilting the head back and "snorting" a few drops of oil. Coconut oil (cooling effect) or sesame (warming effect). This could help a damaged nasal passage heal.

I fucked up my nose snorting prolintane. Turns out the stuff is not snortable and a tad caustic. damn. Its been at least six months and i still have a burn/scab in my nose.

Vaseline will help take the edge off, but the only thing that has really helped it to heal much is tea tree oil (melaleuca), and lavender oil. My sister uses ones from doterra. They are supposed to be pretty quality but im sure you can find something decent off the net.
