Nortriptyline for opiate withdrawal?

I am through the worst of physical withdrawal and have 25mg nortriptylines.....will taking one of these help with the anxiety. Have gone through about 3-4 days of without and the anxiety in unbearable!
 
Did they provide any relief? I have the same rx.... 25mg and was wondering the same... On day 3 of oxycodone withdrawals and the RLS is driving me insane!
 
it would most likely help with the insomnia associated with opioid withdrawal as seen with its cousin drug. the anxiolytic effects of these drugs however generally take some time to work.
