My psychiatrist want to put me on Norpramin / Desipramine to help with depression and ADD. From what I read its a tricyclic antidepressant that inhibit the reuptake of norepinephrine and with lesser extent serotonin.
It is also found to be a potent neuropathic pain blocker.
It would act as an agonist of the sub unit alpha1 and alpha2 of adrenergic receptors, the sub unit 5-HT1a, 5-HT2a, 5-HT2b and 5-HT2c of serotonin receptors.
Anyway my question is, is there anyone that have experience with it, how does it feel, is it effective ?
