Hey everyone, just wondering people's thoughts I've my new stack I've just started, 4 days on 3 days off. Caffeine, l theanine, multivitamin, nootropic and acetyl carnitine taken in the morning. The rest taken in the evening.. 4 days on 3 days off. Any advice? Also considering adding kava supplement to the evening stack.

Evening
800mg 5htp
650mg GABA
300mg magnesium glycinate
600mg ashwaganda
400mg L-theanine

Morning
1000mh tyrinsole
Swiss nootropic blend
400mg l theanine
Caffeine
300mg magnesium glycinate
500mg acetyl carnitinen
Swiss multivitamin

1 dex OR 1 vyanse OR 1 modanafil seems easier and more effective

But how's this stack going??

Hey @Beer Kahuna and welcome to Bluelight 😀

I see that you're interested in the emerging field of "Nootropics". A lot of people are. Supplements are nothing new. It is a highly unregulated market. This creates problems. On the one hand, youre not sure if a supplement will "work" and on the other, the supplement could "work" but then you find your supplier is unreliable in quality.

Anyway, this doesnt violate our rules, however we are a Harm Reduction resource first and foremost. We are here to help people make the right decisions with substances that are often inherently dangerous/addictive.

Nootropics is really not in line with what we specialize in here. We have a limited amoint of space on our front page and we have to keep that open for folks with questions related to their personal safety.

Im going to move this to Drug Culture for now, as that is a less formal area where people can discuss topics like this. If you have any questions just let me know.

I would say primarily do what most people skip, have the basics down.

Proper sleep, proper nutrition and proper training are KEY to cognitive performance. You have to see the basics as the foundation to everything and nootropics are just the cherry on top to push it further.

Look into diet, micronutrients and macronutrients, optimize sleep and preferably train 3 - 5x per week. Then take cognitive enhancers on top of that, you likely wont even need a multivitamin if you have the proper diet, you can supplement with extra B-vitamins, Choline and Creatine though.

Your sleep stack looks good if you feel its working for you. How far are you willing to take your other stack? I bet modafinil or a racetam a few times a week would yield better cognitive enhancement than caffeine, tyrosine and l-theanine.

For a stack like this of low-moderate strength nootropics I would suggest phenibut 25mg 1-2 times a week for social gatherings. I noticed there wasn't a nootropic for having fun. Either that or emoxypine succinate. Both operate on the GABA center of the brain. If you notice effects strong enough from just gaba then stick with that. If you want something a tiny bit stronger try picamilon. A great resting nootropic after long partying or workdays is magnolol. If you need more of a boost try bromantane, for a subtle uplift more like a vitamin enhancement like your current stack try sulbutiamine is a derivative of vitamin C. Perhaps throw in piracetam with citicoline because your brain needs it for any nootropics like racetams, phenylpiracetam may be too much unless taken in very small doses. Good way to save money is supplementing 5mg of phenylpiracetam of phenylpiracetam hydrazide in place of 25-50mg of piracetam. That's what they give astronauts in Russia.

Alpha GPC > citicoline/choline

Depends on use imo. I go for CDP as it’s got a long half life and produces Uridine and other bits and bobs.

I’m more for protecting my brain rather than gym performance these days. I use to take handfuls of stuff just for a minor T Boost but my stack is very small these days.
