4 weeks ago, I found a reliable site on the internet that sell nootropics in bulk (10% of the regular price), so I decided to give it a try, considering the extensive information I had on the subject.
I ordered some piracetam and aniracetam. I also ordered some choline citrate and Lecithin (choline supplements MUST be taken with most nootropics, else they don't work or give you a headache).
I also bought a scale, gelatin caps, and quick capping machine (cap'm quick is the name).
I started taking piracetam, and the first days it made me sleepy a bit (normal, I had read). I lowered the dosage to 1600 mg a day, upped the choline to 2-3g a day, and it helped.
Piracetam and the like are not drugs in the common sense. They don't give you an instant buzz, you must take them for a while (weeks, months) to notice the effects. It builds up in the brain, nourrish the cells, improves the blood flow, protect the neurons etc, gradually.
I started noticing some mild effects the 2nd week (more alert and focused, better memory, better vocabulary). However, the real shock happened when I went to a rave after the 2nd week.
I knew that piracetam increases the effects of alcohol and amphetmines. I took some speed at that rave, but took half my usual dosage. And I had my best buzz in a long time.
I felt much more connected and bright than usual, more energy, conversation was even better than usual. I danced like I never did before, seems like I improved 10x that night. I danced with a crew of liquip pop guys, and for the first time of my life I really "got it". My flow was fluid, hands / feet coordination was much better, creative ideas abounded. I had not danced in 2 months, and the guys of the crew could not believe I could improve that much in a night (ok I'm still not very good, but for me it was a big leap).
I always it right / a lot / take anti-oxydants / sleep etc when I rave, but the day after was even easier than usual.
Needless to say, I was impressed.
The week after, I tried something different at a party: piracetam + ephedrine + alcohol. Once again, the buzz was really different from usual. I had an alcohol feeling at ½ my usual dosage, and the feeling was more in my "head" than in my body / stomach than usual. I could literally feel my consciouness change, which part of the brain worked better and which part didn't. I entertained everyone that night (as usual), but with even more wit and sharpness than usual.
I tried only the ephedrine with piracetam, and a dosage of 25mg hit me pretty hard, without feeling wired or tense as sometimes ephedrine can do. The buzz is increased, and the comedown is reduced! How good is that?
Then, yesterday, I tried aniracetam for the first time. Aniracetam is supposed to be even better than the piracetam, and damn, I agree now.
I took it with some choline and Lecithin (as usual), with some foods (Aniracetam is FAT soluble, piracetam is not). I had so much energy that I could not believe it. It felt really good, kinda like a constant beginning of a speed trip, but without getting there: the doors of perception are more opened, everything feels smoother and easier. I slept very well than night, and the next morning I felt refreshed, full of ideas and potential. Impressive to say the least.
To conclude, I intend to keep taking these nootropics regularly (with reasonable dosages), and especially for parties, as they create an awesome synergy with pot, ephedrine and amphetamines from what I have seen. MDMA users have also reported some great things on this forum.
For those of you who think that piracetam and the like are a placebo, you are totally wrong. The effect is impressive and obvious, my 2 friends who have started with me came to the same conclusion. If piracetam is not working for you, remember 3 things:
1) It can take a while (weeks, months?) to be noticeable in daily life (without stimulants)
2) Make sure you have some good stuff
3) You MUST take some choline supplements. If you don't have some choline citrate (bitartrate, whatever...), take some Lecithin. Most pills of Lecithin are 1200mg and give 400mg of choline, so you need at least 2 of them with a dosage of piracetam (800-1200mg) or of Aniracetam (500-750mg).
And the fact that these nootropics are non-toxics, without side effects for most, can cure dependencies on other drugs, and can improve permanently mental health with their anti-oxydants / neuron protective, nourrishing properties is just great. I don't want to lost my cognitive functions too soon in my life (brain decay is such an ugly thing
), so I think this is a good choice...
Have fun
