Wow! What an awesome site! Let's see, about me......I'm 36 and played football for 13 years, professionally, semi-professionally and all through school. I broke my neck in 2005 and blew out 2 disks in my lower lumbar region. Total freak accident, happened at practice. So needless to say that in the past 5 and a half years I have developed quite the voracious pain killer appetite. I regularly eat 200 mg Oxy daily. I should let you know that aim also a large human, being 6' 6", 310 lbs! My tolerance is ridiculously high. So when I was online researching ways to reduce wd symptoms, I came across interesting methods and this site. The info on here is amazing! Thank you 10000 times whomever created this site! I look forward to making friends and hopefully contributing my info from my own experiences!

I'm certainly not a pro ball player but had similar injuries and a similar journey into painkiller addiction...

I've been free from addiction for years now and would never steer anyone in the wrong direction...

Welcome to bluelight and feel free to ask me anything =D

On a side note I'm 5'10 - 160 soaking wet with clothes on... and that's a lot less than I was taking.... there's hope I promise

Welcome roarchi!

Sucks about your accident mate, sounds pretty hectic too :( In regards to WD symptoms, You have defiantly come to the right place for information! Be sure to let us know if you need a hand with anything :)

I recently broke both bones in my one arm, and by some miracle, didn't need to have a bone graft, somehow surgery turned out fine. I was in a lot of excruciating pain for many months.

The experience has generated a lot of admiration for people who have chronic pain.

Welcome to Bluelight and I hope to see your posts around! :)

Out of curiosity, what teams did you play for?

I can't relate to the physical pain but I do have a cousin who is hopelessly addicted and from being around her, it is a tough thing to beat, but I bet it is more so considering you have pain. She did not to my knowledge.
