[NOOB ALERT] Powder on mg scale

So this is a pretty stupid question, but whenever i put powder RCs on my mg scale, a good amount of it gets left on the bowl. I don't imagine theres any good way of preventing this or getting the powder off of the bowl?

Are you referring to the bowl for the scale? Are you using weigh paper? If you can't get any of that, why not just use wax paper?
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding something.

I use a Stericup on my scale, Just put it on and tare it, then weigh out.

Anything left in the Stericup can just be made into a solution and consumed that way.

Also as mentioned before, Glassine or "weigh paper" is a good approach, you can even get them in little envelope shapes (generally used for preserving stamps) although I have never used them myself as most things end up in a solution with me

Yeah wtf bowl are you talking about? The wax paper etc. idea is what is normally used. Just put it on empty than zero the scale and add the powder.

I usually put a rizla wrapper on my scale before switching it on and then pour the powder into that, wrap it up and good to go!

I use a plastic card on top of the bowel (or sometimes remove the bowel and use something else to hold the card up), and then tare it like someone said. Then just use another card or a razor blade to scrape the powder off.
