nonsense

piles of garbage under a pale sooty moon
yearning for a home not to be found...
with an almost human insanity
spitting fire and poisoned nonsense into the sky
breaking many physical laws
& defiantly violating common sense
quite lively for an unconscious pile of refuse
speaking of an unbearable silence
they say it's inevitable, with a smoker's cough
that the sun will shine brightly
one night

Not nonsense at all. Pure sense.

The ending is incendiary (in every possible way).

PS: I was watching Manufacturing Consent the other night, which has the footage of Chomsky saying what's in your signature. That DVD should be standard issue for all aspiring free thinkers.

I have to admit that this meant much more to me after I'd read it a few times. Now I really like it,
