if you do not consume opiates regularly, and consider them a treat, would taking 20mg of hydrocodone everyday for 4 days in a row be wasteful on the last day? does tolerance build that quickly? it feels like it does. i do not even feel like i got as high yesterday as the day before. but it is damn near impossible just to leave opiates in your drawer.

so, is this dumb and should i wait a few days (which i do not want to do), or is 20mg a few days in a row not gonna make a huge difference in tolerance?

Don't take them for 4 days in a row is my suggestion. If you only use occasionally, they will still feel like a treat to you. I don't see it as tolerance exactly, it's more like if you take them for more than 2 days in a row they don't feel that special/fantastic anymore. They still feel good, but not nearly as good as the first day. Maybe that's just me, but either way I think the smartest thing you could do is only take them occasionally.
