Nodding...please a little help

So my brother has a pretty good tolerance to both benzos and opiates and tonight he took 8mg xanax and 60mg hydrocodone about 3 hours ago all spread out and now he is "nodding" i keep telling him to just fall asleep but he wont listen to me and it literally looks like he is fighting just to stay awake he will try counting his pills and then during like the 15th one he will fall asleep and then wake up and have to start doing it over again...wtf can i do so he actually goes to sleep...i dont want him randomly just falling asleep inthe bathroom counting pills because i know thats what will happen..any help is appreciated.
 
Count them for him? I'd try to make sure he stays conscious regardless since he doesn't sound far from serious respiratory depression.
 
try the social thread. "how do i get my fucked up friend to just go to bed" is not really BDD material.

if at all possible, have him sleep on his side though.
