So i want to get into my hot tub but i need to know, if you start to nod will your body keep you from drowning (wake you up) or will you float to the bottom?

Probably depends on how heavily you are nodding. When I have nodded off in the bath before I would always wake up as soon as my head slipped into the water, but that is no guarantee that you will. I would advise having someone else there, waiting until you are a little less high, or doing something to try to keep yourself from nodding off like drinking cold drinks, keeping your mind active, etc.

I would strongly advise against this. As swimmingdancer said above me, it is very dose dependent, and will also vary between individuals. There is a good chance that, if you go into a heavy nod, you will not wake up if your head goes underwater, and you will drown. Certainly not worth the risk.

I know someone who died passing out on drugs in a hot tub..

Do not do it.

Whether you sink or float largely depends on how much air is in your lungs. It follows that if you're nodding you're going to sink like a stone because respiratory depression will leave your lungs largely void of air. I would strongly recommend against it even if you were likely to float. It's a recipe for disaster, no two ways about it.

you'll die i was saved by a friend doing that shit and they had to give me cpr thank good it was a chick and cute too but more like a sister to me

^^^lmao...
nice to see yet another guy w/his priorities 'straight'...

wonders what mr.flowers would've done if it had been a guy who performed cpr.

moral of the story? don't risk it--but if you do...have somebody you think's hot to sit with you, preferably after taking a cpr class.

;) or just don't risk it.
